We hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather!

As always please be sensible and keep your dogs safe from heat stroke. Very early or very late walks, shorter walks, walks in shadier areas, indoor enrichment activities are all ways we can protect our dogs in the heat.

Check out the guides below on heat stroke and PetPlan's 'how hot is too hot?'

Thank you ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi friends!

Spring has definitely sprung and our dogs are loving it - we hope yours are too.

Some little updates:

- Be aware there are four lovely lady cows in the next field ๐Ÿฎ

- A reminder - smoking is not permitted on site ๐Ÿšญ

- We are finding the field being left tidy and clean in the evenings which is much appreciated - thank you! ๐Ÿ’•

- As the weather is getting warmer please be responsible when taking your dogs out. Large breeds, flat faced breeds, elderly dogs and those with health problems are more at risk of heat stroke. So when its above 20 degrees please take care by doing shorter walks, walking very early or late and use shaded areas when possible. Our dogs love enrichment like puzzles, trick training and playing to wear them out when walks aren't an option ๐ŸŒž

- Please reach out to us here via messenger or email for any questions or feedback - it's all useful and appreciated โœ‰๏ธ

*OCTOBER 2022 UPDATES*

A massive thank you:

We want to share our gratitude and appreciation to those customers that take care and keep the field in superb condition. We also want to thank you for your support and positive feedback on facebook, google and via email and word of mouth. We are proud to say we have had 18 five star ratings on google in our first six months! One of the best parts of the job is hearing from you about how your doggieโ€™s love the field.

Announcements:

- Most of you will have noticed we have six gorgeous cows in the field next door
- We are approaching our first winter and are optimistic with how well the ground has drained so far, although we imagine thereโ€™s more rain to come - fingers crossed it wonโ€™t get too muddy!

Site care and reminders:

We unfortunately find it necessary to post a few reminders so the field is enjoyable and safe for everybody.

The field is inspected multiple times a day and recently it has been noticed that items have been broken, such as the agility seesaw, balance beam and the dog toy storage box. Also there has been a considerable increase in dog poo being left in the field. Whilst we understand accidents happen, this really creates a lot of work for us, is costly and most importantly, isn't nice for other customers.

We have had many complaints describing customers waiting outside their cars with their dogs before their session starts. It states on our website, on your booking reminder and on a large sign next to the car park that your arrival and departure is within your time slot, and that you must remain in your car until your slot begins. Sadly this has caused stress to many dogs who love the field but are anxious around other dogs.

So, to remind you:
- CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG ๐Ÿ’ฉ
- STICK TO YOUR TIME SLOT โฒ
- DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO PLAY ON ANY EQUIPMENT ๐Ÿšธ
- DO NOT MOVE THE AGILITY EQUIPMENT ๐ŸŽพ
- PACK TOYS AND BALLS AWAY ๐ŸฅŽ
- If you break an item or notice something is broken, please get in contact with us ๐Ÿ–Š

We don't get pleasure from sounding like killjoys. However, if the damage to equipment and lack of picking up after dogs continues, it will likely result in having to introduce some restrictions on the current system, for example CCTV and not allowing children on site for their own safety. Thanks!

Hello friends!

If you weren't aware already the Met Office have issued weather warnings as follows:

๐ŸŸ  Sunday 17th July: Amber โš ๏ธ
๐Ÿ”ด Monday 18th July: Red โš ๏ธ
๐Ÿ”ด Tuesday 18th July: Red โš ๏ธ

For these reasons we are closing on those days. We have kept the very early morning slot open but this may change.

Please take care and follow this guide to prevent your doggies from getting heat stroke, and do not walk your dogs Sunday to Tuesday.

Thank you!

It's been a minute! We are loving how much our doggy and human customers are enjoying the field. Please remember our housekeeping rules:

- When you arrive at the field please wait in your car for the previous customer to leave the site, as some dogs may be nervous or aggressive towards other dogs ๐Ÿš— ๐Ÿ•

- Please be punctual - no extension is allowed if you are late. Ensure that you leave on time out of respect for the next customer โฑ

- Dogs must be kept on leads until safely in the gated field ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ

- Please do not exercise your dog outside of the secure field. These areas form part of the farm and are out of bounds ๐ŸŒพ

- ALL dog excrement MUST be picked up in the poo bags provided and placed in the bin which is solely for dog waste. It is your responsibility to pick up after your dog. Failure to do so may see you unable to book future sessions ๐Ÿ’ฉ

- Please take other litter home with you ๐Ÿ—‘

- Do not leave your dog unattended at any time ๐Ÿพ

- Please prevent your dog from digging in the field ๐Ÿถ

- All dogs using the field must be wormed and have all vaccinations up to date ๐Ÿ’Š

- If your dog is unwell whilst in the field, please let us know as soon as possible ๐Ÿคฎ

- A 48 hour cancellation notice is required. Please email or call us if you need to cancel. โณ

And a few extra things...

- If if you or your dog damage any of the equipment please inform us! Of course it's not ideal, but we'd rather know as and when these things happen so we can sort it out asap.

- Please do not let children climb on the equipment. It is not safe or designed for human use.

The vast majority of customers take fantastic care of the field and the equipment we provide so a massive thank you from us for that! ๐ŸŒป
