Tomorrow is Duchenne Awareness Day. Our son Henry was diagnosed with DMD last year and our world has quite simply been turned upside down. There is no sugar coating this disease. Our precious boy is deteriorating. His muscles are failing. The ability to walk will be lost during his childhood making the use of a wheelchair necessary. He will then lose strength in his arms meaning a power chair will be required next. After that, his lungs and heart will fail him. The current life expectancy of a person with DMD is 27 years. There is no cure. This is the desperate situation that Henry finds himself in and so we are asking that all of our friends and family change their facebook picture to the red balloon 🎈 to try and raise awareness of this horrendous disease. We need to raise money for research and this is directly related to awareness. So again, I beg of you, please change your facebook profile picture to the red balloon for a few days, and maybe write a quick post with a picture or two, to help us spread the word. You could change my little boys future. You could save his life. I will forever be Thankful. Thanks so much for reading 🙏❤️💚

The page has been quiet for a few weeks now. I'm so very sad to say that I have stopped dog walking for the time being because we are moving away from Colchester. I started my dog walking business here in Colly and I have enjoyed every single minute of it. The hardest part for me is saying goodbye to all of your beautiful hounds because I'm afraid I fall in love with every single one of them 😍😍. Thank You with all of my heart for choosing me to look after your precious pets, it was such a privelage. ❤❤❤🐶🐶🐕🐕

Two weeks with this lovely boy has gone way too fast for my liking. He had been an absolute pleasure to look after. Well behaved, good on and off the lead, sociable, playful and very loving. I will miss looking after you beautiful boy. 😘😘😘😘

This is my Saturday girl. She helps me walk the hounds. She's more glamourous than me - insisting on wearing her dresses for doggie walks. She's very good at her job with her favourite job being the 'doggie sweetie dispenser'.

Such a nice walk with these 3 today. I love dogs so much. They go from complete strangers to friends in no time at all. They stick together in their little pack and have a fantastic time 😍😍.

We know there are plenty of dog lovers on our page, and with the current heatwave, please make sure you're doing the best thing for them. Dog's can suffer heatstroke quite easily, and it can be fatal. This helpful graphic from Vets Now has some facts about dog heatstroke.

A good way to test if the ground is too warm to walk your dog is to test it with the back of your hand. If it's too hot for your skin, it's too hot for their paws.
