🐶I know it’s so hard to resist the puppy dog eyes & little strings of slobber.
🥩 & it seems mean to deprive them of the delicious foods that we eat.
🥕It’s also important to remember that dogs digestive systems work differently from ours (they also can’t actually taste as much as we can).
🌡️By them becoming overweight means they are more predisposed to chronic illnesses such as diabetes & joint issues.
💃🏽They also aren’t able to be as agile if they’re overweight/obese.
🍗The kindest thing to do is to avoid table scraps, maybe keep this for a special occasion.
🦴Be mindful of training treats & dentastix, which ones that have & how often they are having them 😊

I can’t believe I’m writing this post.
Jack, unexpectedly, but peacefully passed away yesterday.
Shocked & completely heartbroken is an understatement.
He was the most wonderful boy, walked as slow as snail & loved a good sniff.
To posh to poo in public, except that one time which shocked us all.
The best cheeks to scratch & head to kiss.

🌱 Let’s talk grass seeds 🌱

It’s that time of year! Where they come back with a vengeance.
Bloomin’ grass seeds!!’

What you can do after walks:
🌾 wash down paws & check them, ensuring to look in between the toes thoroughly.
🌾 brush out the fur post walk
🌾 check ears, lift up any floppy ones & clear the area of any visible seeds carefully.
🌾check around the eyes & nose & remove any visible seeds ensuring to wipe away from the eyes & nose themselves
