Dog owners are being warned to be vigilant after two dogs have died from the flesh-eating disease Alabama Rot.

It is this time of year when cases of the rare yet devastating disease are most commonly identified.

Alabama Rot, also known as Cutaneous Renal Glomerular Vasculopathy, is a condition that causes damage to the blood vessels of the skin and kidneys and can lead to skin ulcers and kidney failure.

Does anyone recognise this lovely older chap, he is male and neutered, No microchip. Found in the Huntingdon area. He does require some medical treatment, so trying to locate his owners. Please contact the hospital on 01480 52222

There is a dog tracker on the case so please do not remove the cameras dotted around and phone Kerry with any sightings. This petrified dog has been rescued from overseas and doesn’t know the area.

We are looking for a self-employed, qualified groomer to be based at our busy 5 Star licensed kennels and cattery. We are licensed for up to 40 dogs and 25 cats. The grooming room is currently under going a complete refurbishment.
