Bebe’s Equine Transport

Yesterday was a long day one for this beautiful girl, left our yard at 8am to go and collect her, then 2 and a half hours, 6 adults, 1 vet and heavy sedation later, we managed to get her onto the trailer to take her to her new home in Milton Keynes. A good drive there, and a good drive back and arrived back to our yard at 20:10 long day but worth it to see the look of her new owners faces when taking her off the trailer! 🫶🏻 she certainly got off it much easier then she got on, that’s for sure! 😅

We moved this little Shetland on to her new loan home last night. It was a late one by the time we got back with her, but I do love this job!!

If you think horse transport is expensive, try the vet bill after the floor has failed with your horse onboard.

The money you pay for the transportation of your beloved horses and ponies, goes back into maintaining the car & trailer/box. Which is imperative to keeping your horses and ponies safe!

We have our trailer serviced every 6 months and the car is also serviced on regular intervals, with an up to date MOT

This is a photo taken by a vet while attending the horse who had fallen through the floor of someone's trailer. Thought it was worth sharing to serve as a good reminder to get your trailer floors checked regularly.

We took these two handsome pony’s and their little riders to Somerford over the bank holiday weekend! Lots of fun was had, and almost a half marathon for me and Jess too, which was fun! 🤣 (I’m not a runner by any means long stretch!)

I took my own boy back to to have the wires out of his jaw after ripping out his own teeth on a rug rail! 🙈 it’s been a very long 6 and a half weeks, but tomorrow he can be turned out and chill out. He’s desperate for some grass and exercise!
Hopefully he’ll keep himself out of harms way for a good while, and stop escaping from his stable at night and eating everyone’s feeds! 🤣

Today we brought this absolutely beautiful Irish draught mare from Northumberland all the way back to her forever home! 😁 it’s been a long old day for me, but we had a very happy mum and daughter when she arrived home safely

Today we’re transporting one of our own boys! Our big baby, Harry!! Emergency dart to to have his jaw and teeth wired together after a gruesome accident in his new stable! 🙈 long wait for us today so we can take him back home to recover 😊

I think it’s about time we had an introduction after going a bit quiet on here since setting up.

So this is Phoebe (Bebe) and her pony Bluey

Phoebe is autistic and is currently home schooled as highschool can’t support her needs and would prefer her to fail than flourish.

As we don’t know how Phoebe will take to college to further any carreer plans she may have in the future. All that we do know is that she wants to work with horses. So we are future proofing her a little bit. Currently she is 12 (next week) and we have set up a transport company in the hope that by the time she’s 17 we will have a 4.5 tonne and not a trailer and she’ll have a ready made business to walk straight into and start earning for herself and having her own stability to enjoy the life she wants with her ponies and pups.

Any money that we make running up to this point will be going into a pot to maintain the trailer we have now, and to eventually buy the dream van she’d want too when the time comes. ☺️

I (her dad) am type one certified and insured with full breakdown cover, should anything ever happen, we’re covered for it.
