THE PIGGIES 🐷🐖 I love seeing the pigs doing their thing during pannage and we are really blessed in the New Forest. But please do be cautious and not let your dog's approach the pigs, they are still Forest Livestock, same as the ponies and cows. So admire from afar. On a separate note I'm very glad it's pannage season as an acorn bopped me on the head the other day and they do hurt 😂😂😂

Reposted from A 3 year old child is behaving ‘badly’, even aggressively, so the teacher takes the child by the collar and slams him down onto the ground, holding him down by the throat until he calms down. The child does indeed stop so he’s allowed to get up. He’s a bit stunned for a moment but then he behaves ‘badly’ again. This time, the child is held up by his collar and almost lifted off the ground by his neck. He’s so scared that he defecates on himself. He screams out but the teacher doesn’t respond because the teacher has to show him who the boss is, has to stop the bad behaviour in order to teach the child a lesson and ultimately stop him from behaving badly again. Now, put that on the internet. What would happen to that teacher? My best guess is that he would end up in jail for child abuse where he belongs. Horrific isn’t it? Abuse is abuse whether it is to humans or animals. There is no place in the world this should ever happen to any child or to any animal including a dog. It mostly happens behind closed doors to humans and animals as the cowards that abuse others do not like to show who they are, but dogs are abused everyday in the name of training and it’s put out on the internet for everyone to see, because it’s ‘training’ and because it’s a dog, it’s allowed, even celebrated. It disgusts me that in this day and age, with so much knowledge out there on how to take on even very large dogs like this Cane Corso and train them, that there are still trainers who get away with abusing dogs in the name of training. They too, belong in jail and that is where I hope one particular male abuser ends up. He disgraces the training profession with his horrific methods and I am so sad for any dog that he puts his hands on.

There is no place for abuse in dog training. There are horrific videos going around the internet of one particular trainer who’s techniques are disgraceful and abusive. It doesn’t matter whether you are working with a Pug, a Bulldog or a Leonberger like this beauty here - there is zero justification for cruelty, regardless of the issue. This male trainer has a large following of people who are swayed into thinking that stringing dogs up by their leashes and collars until they defecate on themselves is ok because ultimately it ‘saves dogs’ lives’ and stops them from being euthanized. This is a myth. Please do not be conned into thinking this is ok for any dog, and if you care about your dog or dogs’ welfare in general, avoid watching, sharing or supporting this man and make your voice heard.
As an ambassador for the RSPCA, I take cruelty to animals in general and in dog training very seriously. I have fought against it for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Everything we do at VSPDT, VSA and Positively shows you effective alternatives to harsh methods, and exposes the truth behind the myths of antiquated and dangerous theories, beliefs and methods.

Dax has loved joining our group walks and making new friends. He is more confident every time I see him and definitely now sees me as "lady who feeds and walks me" 😂 I'm so pleased St Francis Animal Welfare have used some of the photos I have taken too! Makes standing with treats in the air, doing weird noises etc all worth it 😍

Baxter (now known as Dax) came to us recently as a very shy and nervous dog. He didn’t like people touching him and was very unsure of a lead or harness being put on. He has now blossomed into a cheeky little terrier and has a sister for company too. Here is what his new pawrents have said…

“He has settled in so well and is becoming more confident every day. He is the sweetest little snuggle bug who loves to curl up with you and get his belly rubs (even if he does look slightly crazy with his massive eyes and big teeth 🤣)

He loves going on his group walks with our dog walker and making lots of new doggie friends 😊”

And so it starts.
Somehow my name and business has been dragged into the drama with the missing rabbits. An admin on a local community page has been telling people that I have the rabbits. I can assure you that I have not and never have.
I have received messages threatening to ruin my business and have it plastered all over Facebook. Supposedly they have "footage" of me catching the rabbits. If so, pass it to the police and let them deal with it. But again I DO NOT HAVE YOUR RABBITS, I NEVER DID AND I NEVER HAVE.
I've had enough of this Facebook witch hunt. The only opinion that matters is my friends, family and clients and they will stand by my side.
I have enough to deal with at the moment, I do not need any additional drama.
