It was a relaxing girls’ holiday for Lulu and Layla when they came to stay. Happily, they had sunshine which meant lots of warm snoozy days. We love seeing Bruno, who was adopted from us, as he is a bit of a character. Bruno loves his food but can get a little over-excited when he has his fusses! Willow decided the best place to recline was right by the door, both at going in and coming out time! We have to admit we didn’t really think her choice was the right one but…..here she is and here she stayed! Jessie was happy to doze her holiday away between meal times – the sight of her silver service food delivery soon had her on her little feet though! Smokey, Moo and Teddy had a happy time with us and made the most of the facilities, which included scratch towers when, at the top, Moo realised she would get lots of extra chin tickles. We hope you have had a calm Monday and send you all our love to help you through the rest of the week xx

Having George Bartholmeow, who was adopted from us, holidaying with us in the cattery is good, because he finds his way to here from home (he only lives “over there”!) during the evening and attacks my feet and legs as I pop round our guests, it’s most unbalanced making! Ella posed with a line of sunshine across her lovely face during her photo shoot; meanwhile further up the cattery Trevor reclined peacefully on his chair and cushion, both brought from home. Very senior boy, Harvey, came for a lovely holiday whereby he enjoyed lots of scrummy food and fuss – and dozes of course. Jinx happily posed for her photo while her sister, Pixie, decided it was more interesting to watch the wildlife. Finally, Frankie is a laid-back boy who just loves to relax and eat! We hope you survived the wind and, as always, send you our swishy tail love xx

Well, we’re still scrambling around finding photos! This means that no matter how long it is since your adorable furry faced one had a holiday with us, they may still appear…..just a few months late! So, this evening we are delighted to have found Coco. This was Coco’s first holiday with us and, although she was a bit of a picky eater, Coco found lots of time to roll around in the sunshine and enjoy fusses. Wolfie and Thor also came for their first holiday and loved to sit on their palm tree scratch tower, just watching the world go by. Lovely Timmy came for mini-break and even had a tummy tickle, bless him! Maude was actually quite sociable this time – that’s not something we often say! – and she even attempted a few rolls on her shelf during her chats. Arlo and Georgina were lucky enough to have sunshine for their holiday and while Georgina relaxed in the sun – either on her shelf or on someone’s lap - Arlo kept watch to make sure he didn’t miss anything important. Sending you all our love xx

Last week, the laptop with all our furry guests’ photos gave up the will to live and hopped off to the great big laptop in the sky – rather inconveniently. We are currently using Sarah’s laptop and she assures me that the keys are in exactly the same place…..to be honest, I’m not so sure they are! In the meantime, while we gather up those adorable furry faces, we have just a small number of guests to show off today. Coco, with his warning sign, came to stay; he pulled the appropriate faces and threw out the odd hiss and spit, just to live up to his reputation. Pearl, Tilly, Margot and Joyce came for a lovely sunny holiday. Lots of dozing and eating made for a perfect holiday in the sun! We send you lots of whiskery love xx

Adorable Tilly never fails to make us laugh. If she’s not trying to outstare us with her big eyes, she is shouting very loudly at her cardboard tunnel scratcher. She is one VERY chatty lady! The very handsome Kermit came in just to count the pigeons and, further down the corridor, Minnie tried to catch a couple, just to throw his counting system out! Pepsi loved to roll and have fusses while - and this doesn’t happen very often - his sister, Popcorn, spent quite a lot of time outside for a change. Did we have our cameras when she was happily sitting outside waiting for her food……? No, of course we didn’t! Moses and Diego came for a fluffy holiday, where there was a lot of messing about; while their neighbour, Sugar, tried to catch a few dozes xx

Beautiful Daisy and her Minnie Mouse bed had a very happy time during their holiday. They watched all bits and bobs of wildlife and relaxed. Yuki, Luna and Casper came for their first holiday and pretty much eased their way into holiday-mode – Dreamies always help, of course! Dottie had the sun shining on her lovely face as she watched the squirrels racing around the trees outside her window, and was kept entertained for hours! Meanwhile, Eric and Ernie came with Tilley, who wasn’t in the mood to pose, but they all snoozed their mini-break away. Bert and Ernie were very chatty – which was nice – and we were more than happy to chat back and listen to all their fun thoughts about whiskery life. Finally, Jessie’s aim during her lovely long stay was to teach us all how to roll properly! Sending you all our mid-week love xx

Aslan and Rocky came to spend a VERY playful time with us. We had water and toys here, there and everywhere, but their favourite past-time was watching the pigeons. John and Jason came for their first stay and were very well-behaved boys. They relaxed and had the best time ever. Lola keeps popping in and out for her holidays, which makes us happy as we love to see her little face. Narla came with her brother but, on this occasion, he decided to hide away and only pop out when we weren’t ready with the camera! Cassie and Rodney are not in the least bit fussy with their food, which makes life easy….take note, Alan! Misty and Willow were another pair of newbies who started off checking everything out from their window, before heading out into their run for a spot of bird-watching. Simba is, without doubt, a huge roller – and he prefers to roll right in front of where we are about to step! Finally, by the time Dart left, she was very keen to show off her white bits, and very beautiful they were too xx

We have had the most beautiful guests stay with us recently. Oscar came for his summer holiday and spent his time perfecting the perfect pose or investigating the next door neighbours. His neighbours included Teddy who loves to do “the stare” and show off his beautiful face. Ivy, Betty and Luna left us recently after their first holiday. Once they had realised that enjoying themselves was the way to go, they certainly relaxed and had fun. Jack starts off by missing his mummy for a few minutes on arrival but, before we know it, lots of fusses and chats are the order of every day. Finally, Shadow lives up to his name and loves to come out under the cover of duskiness, once everything is quiet. Meanwhile, Loki is up and out ready for fuss and food – and licking of lips! Sending you all our summery love xx

The “very shy; fairly shy and not shy at all” brothers came to see us recently. Milton, Humphrey and Merlin enjoyed their holiday, each in their own way. They always love their food – so long as no-one is looking – and that’s what matters. Dusty and Ralph had a “who’s that up there saying who’s that down there” moment. Happily, for the most part, they knew who was up and down where, which is always good! Treacle came for a lovely sunny stay and was always out and about looking for fuss. “Well, hello Fluff Daddy and how are you today?” was our usual greeting. Mostly, Fluff was a happy chappy but….there were the very rare moments when someone got out of bed on the wrong side! Finally, lovely Luna was always happy to see everyone and, as Fluff was her neighbour, she was very keen to impress! We send you lots of humid Wednesday love xx

Lots of adorable guests have been to see us, and we start with senior boy, Ted, who snoozed his time away during his holiday – but amazingly, woke up in time for food! His sister, Elsa, had the devil in her – look at that naughty face! - and was always keen to try and disturb him. Dax came for a holiday and loved to greet us with her sunny face; meanwhile further down the hotel corridor, Willow and Margot’s attention was caught by a neighbour misbehaving - words were said! Pixie and Jinx sprawled and scent marked as they relaxed in the sunshine, while Echo and Merlin both opted to lounge in their own way. We still have SO many guests to show off and to be honest, we need to buck our ideas up otherwise our present guests won’t appear until September! Sending you lots of “almost Monday morning” love xx

Everyone has felt quite hot over the last week or so (humans not so happy, especially those of us who love snow!) and yet our super furry faces have seemed quite relaxed. Aslan enjoyed a recline in the shade, while Flynn just draped himself peacefully over his shelf during the (very!) warm spell. Derek opted for a regal pose just to show how handsome he is; meanwhile Sandie had a mini work out on the tall scratch post. Lovely Lola showed how she rolls, which we think is very beautifully! Finally, a happy tail Ollie strutted his stuff along his cat-shelf, while Ruby just flopped in the warm temperatures which, to be honest, we could fully understand. We hope you have coped with the warm stuff – we mean, honestly, we have customers who come in saying they LOVE these temperatures. Hmmmmm……!! Lots of super-hot love xx

*KITTENS ARE RESERVED* These adorable furry faces are looking for their new homes. Ideally rehomed in pairs, if possible, Tina (calico) and Pepper (black and white) – girl power; and Peter (black) and Trevor (tabby) – let’s hear it for the boys - make us laugh every day with their cheeky antics. They have met cat savvy children and, at 7 weeks old, find everything fascinating, including Alan! Their gorgeous mum, Annie, is so gentle and has been a fabulous mummy to them. She is looking for a home on her own, where she will have all your love and attention. If you are interested in meeting, or finding out more, about this fluffy bundle of fun please email us [email protected] xx
