Monthly update: March 2025

I have had a wonderful month - I adore spring so have loved seeing all the new growth, the daffodils, crocus', dandelions, daisies and buttercups. I rescued a bee who liked me a little too much and decided to make herself home on my hat - I forgot she was there and got in my car only to feel her crawling along my face. That is not an experience I would recommend. I briefly saw a young buck running as I was walking the Torrs cliffs. I have been watching a pair of buzzards fly up near Lee and have seen the first few geese of the year to visit the reservoir.

I have walked 16 Dogs, been on 89 walks for a total of 66 hours. Thrown a ball 489 times and a stick 28 times.

I have looked after 9 cats for a total of 14 hours.

My monthly step count is 395,000, for a total of 198 miles

Hello all, hope you have all had a wonderful week :) This week I have spent 17.5 hours walking dogs and 2 hours running with the brown terrier mix and the female collies. I walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Whippet, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier, the brown terrier mix, the female collies, the vizlaxlab, the 2 labs and the boxer&patterdalexpoodle.

I have been through the high street, to the war memorial, St James park, Tarka trail, Cow green, hillsbourgh, Slade meadows, Wildersmouth and Lower Cairn.

I looked after 4 cats.

I took 103k steps which is 53.1miles.

Happy Sunday, hope you have all had a wonderful week :) This week I have spent 15.5 hours walking dogs and 1 hour running with the brown terrier mix. I walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Whippet, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier, the brown terrier mix, the padenco, the vizlaxlab and the boxer&patterdalexpoodle.

I have been through the high street, to the war memorial, St James park, Tarka trail, Cow green, hillsbourgh and Lower Cairn.

I looked after 6 cats.

I took 92.3k steps which is 75.3km/47.7miles.

Hello :) This week I have spent 23 hours walking dogs and 2 hours running with dogs. I walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Whippet, the little female collie, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier, the brown terrier mix, the 2 female collies, the padenco, the vizlaxlab and the boxer&patterdalexpoodle.
I ran 3.5 mile with male collie and 4 mile with the brown terrier mix

I have been through the high street, to the war memorial, St James park, Tarka trail, Torrs walk, Cow green, hillsbourgh, round Capstone, Jubilee gardens and Lower Cairn.

I looked after 3 cats.
I have thrown a ball 100 times and a stick 15 times.

I took 109k steps which is 85.4km/53.1miles.

Monthly update: February 2025

Wow this month just whooshed on by. I have once again throughly enjoyed myself and laughed myself silly over some of the ridiculous antics your pets have gotten up to.
I got lost on the farmlands on the way to Lee Bridge - I was with the little brown terrier and we got to see horses, cows, ducks and geese up close and she even managed to lick a sheep's face. This week I finally felt strong enough to run again do hopefully that will be a regular feature going forward.

I have walked 16 Dogs, been on 84 walks for a total of 60 hours. Thrown a ball 252 times and a stick 6 times.

I have looked after 5 cats for a total of 8.5 hours.

My monthly step count is 352,000, for a total of 255km/ 164miles

Hello all. This week I walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier, the male Collie, the brown terrier mix, the 2 female collies and the boxer&patterdalexpoodle.

I have been through the high street, to the war memorial, Tarka trail, Cow green, Jubilee gardens and Lower Cairn.

I only looked after 2 cats.
I have thrown a ball 100 times.

I took 68.1k steps which is 47.2km/29.4miles.

Hello, sorry I have been quiet for a few weeks - I have still been walking dogs and feeding cats not to worry

Last week I walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Whippet, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier the padenco, the Collie, 2 seperate brown terrier mixes, the vizlaxlab and the boxer&patterdalexpoodle.

I have been through the high street, to the war memorial, St. James park, Tarka trail, Cow green, Hillsborough and Lower Cairn I also managed to get lost on some farm lands/public footpaths over Lee way 😅

I only looked after 1 cat.

I took 96.3k steps which is 66.5km/ 45.1miles.

This week I have walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Whippet, the white terrier, the Cockerpoo, the collie, the brown terrier, the 2 labs, the Vizlador and the boxer&patterdalexpoodle.

I have visited the war memorial, St James Park, Cow Green, the tarka trail, Jubilee Gardens, Lee bridge and lower Cairn.

I have looked after 5 cats.

I have thrown a stick3 times and a tennis ball 105 times.

I have taken 89300 steps, and travelled 63.6km/39.5 miles

Monthly update: January 2025

I have had a wonderful start to the year. I helped a Kestral that was trapped against the corner of a glass balcony. The little brown terrier I walk saw me through the window and tried to squeeze herself out of an inch wide gap to greet me. I have had Dogs so excited to see me that I have been punched in the stomach and scratched on the chin 3 times. I have been pulled over (see photo evidence below haha). I have also had some cats join me for my morning stretches - I think they just wanted to show off how much more flexible they are than me, which is rude! But mostly I have been filled with joy, love and laughter

Unfortunately I have also had to say goodbye to the Staffie&Frenchie as they moved away this week. I shall miss them terribly.

I have walked 16 Dogs, been on 105 walks for a total of 71 hours. Thrown a ball 273 times and a stick 31 times. I have used 156 poo bags.

I have looked after 6 cats for a total of 15 hours.

My monthly step count is 374,000, for a total of 254km/ 157miles

I shall include some of my photo fails. The final photo was not a fail but it shows the Vizlador in the reservoir and it makes me cold everytime I look at it

I have looked after 2 cats.

I took 79.8k steps which is 55.1km/ 34.2miles.

Fingers crossed my pain is more manageable this coming week, so I will have some better numbers to share with you.

I have been through the high street, to the war memorial, St. James park, Tarka trail, Cow green, Marlborough Road cemetary, Jubilee gardens and Lower Cairn .

I have looked after 2 cats.

It was still a quiet week so I only took 70k steps which is 46.5km/ 28.8miles. Hopefully next week my numbers will be better.

Happy new year to all my furred, feathered and scaled friends as well as their humans.

I have had a great year with you all.

I have walked 83 Dogs and looked after 21 Cats, 5 Chickens, 4 Guinea pigs, 2 Rabbits, 1 tortoise, 1 bearded dragon and 1 pigeon.

I have been on a total of 1309 walks!
Whilst exposed to rainfall - both heavy and light, hailstorms, sunshine and battled against wind.

May 2025 bring many more adventures xx

Lightly jingling name tags
Crashing waves
Wind through the leaves
Rain on my hood
Babbling streams
Little birds cheeping
Seagulls squawking
And occasionally this waterfall.

Another week has passed.

I walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, a female colle, Sh*tzuxpoodle & Whippet, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier, the Staffie&Frenchie, ran with the male Collie, walked the terrier mix, the Padenco, the Vizlador, the Boxer&Patterdalexpoodle and the 2 black terriers.

I have been to the War memorial, around the tyreel, through the high street, played at St James park, explored Cow green, rambled through Marlborough Road cemetary, traversed the tarka trail, hiked up Hillsborough,
been along lower Cairn, strolled the parish cemetery and trekked Jubille gardens, the band stand, Wildersmouth and back of Capstone.

I have looked after one cat.

I have taken 113,700 steps. Which is 73.6km or 45.73 miles

Hello all. I'm back from my staycation and feeling great.
I have been Informed that my weekly updates have been missed so I am bringing them back :)

This week I have walked the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Pug, the Sh*tzuxpoodle&Whippet, the Cockerpoo, the white terrier, the Staffie&Frenchie, the male collie, the terrier mix, the vizlaxlab, the 2 female collies, the Boxer&Patterdalexpoodle and a jack Russel.

I have looked after just the one cat this week.

My dog adventures have taken me through the high street, out by the tyrell, up to the war memorial, St James park, the tarka trail for a combined 8 hours, cow green, Marlborough Road cemetary, Jubilee Gardens, lower Cairn, Band stand and around the back of Capstone.

It has been an easy week - only 17 hours of walking in total - so the numbers are low. I have walked 102,050 steps which is just 66km or 41miles

The wiggle on these 2, they put Marilyn Monroe to shame!

A minutes silence please I swear I tried. My trainers are drowned and my trousers so water logged they are risk if falling down. But alas, the sea claimed another tennis ball today.

Not all of my feline clients like to be played with or hugged. I also have some felines that go outside so I try to wait around to see them. In these instances I bring something along with me to keep myself entertained. Usually a book or a crochet project. Today I learnt that these 2 do not mesh well with crochet 🤣🤣

I know I have the best job in the world and people get jealous but not EVERYone can do it. Still they try, this Boxer for example. She sees me do it and thinks she can do the same. Sorry but you are too rough and far too bossy😅🤣

Are you even happy if you don't whip your own thighs and side?

I was privileged enough to have his Majesty Prince Quinn join me for my morning stomp to the beach. Beautiful day out there :)
