Our value to track course starts in December.

Sometimes with mantrailing the dogs focus is so much on the goal at the end everything else becomes less valuable ' including the hander.

Our value to track not only brings the dog more value to work the scent trail but also brings value to the handler partnership.

Our December course is full but I'm running another in February.

Gemma and Nyx set off to the agility 4 all grand finals on Saturday as they had qualified for the Dogeria performance challenge.

A very unlucky pole in the jumping but pulled it out and WON the agility round, this put them 2nd overall too.

6 months 💪💪💪 Working hard to help l○st pets

Where did that time go.

Today marks 6 months since Voodoo and I passed our assessments to become operational, in that time we have done 21 tracks for m!ssing pets.

We have tracked for all of the above, some multiple times, providing information that only the dogs nose can give. Travelling all over Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and even further.

Voodoo was pivitol in several and Dora's find will always be a special memory for sure.

Jaxon is an ongoing case at the moment and we stay in contact with Dog sos Derbyshire and his family and are wishing he returns soon.

I am so very proud of my girl and what we have achieved.

Yesterday's mantrailing day saw lots of cool work from all the dogs.

We had urban rural gates vehicles public and much more........

Discussions on dogs that read our micro movements well and how not to influence.

Spaniels being spaniels and thankfully little rain.

Agility and young dogs.

This is Eerie shes just over 6 months old.

The general rule is any dog under 12 months shouldn't do agility, and this is true too much pressure on a young musculoskeletal system can have detrimental affect, so avoiding jumping /landing, twisting, impact and extream turns is a must.

However there are lots of low impact foundation games and behaviours you can do to prepare a dog for a journey into an agility career.

Engagement, reinforcement, commitment, value and impulse control all beneficial to start early....
