😻😻😻😻 We are super proud to be offering a Microchip Welfare Event on Saturday 8th June 2024 at the Bakersfield Community Centre

Why are we doing this?
From 10 June 2024, cats over 20 weeks old must be and registered on a compliant database 📆

By microchipping their cats, owners can increase the likelihood that they will be reunited with their beloved pet in the event that they go missing.

We want to support as many people as we can in the local communities and will be partnering up with some fabulous services, all onboard to offer free advice and support.

So please spread the word and let's help get as many of our feline friends microchipped as we can

Did you know only 15% of ginger cats are female? This is due to their chromosomes 🧬
The ‘ginger gene’ which produces the orange colour is on the X chromosome. Females have two X chromosomes and so need two copies of this gene to become ginger, whereas males need only one.
