Oh it’s been busy in our little pet shop! 😱

Hugo & Pip have been sporting our cute, little, Christmas Doggy Jumpers! Do you think they suit them? 🤩

They’ve certainly been running around the shop floor chatting to your dogs and grabbing all the attention they can, that’s for sure.

The Christmas chew toys 🦴 are flying out the door and we’ve been decorating our tree 🎄😀 Stay tuned for more Christmas updates over the next few days. When we started to capture the day to day life of our small, local pet shop in Ilkley this year, we really didn’t know where it would go.

But when you look back through a body of work like this, the smiles, the struggles, you guys, your wonderful animals, the silly moments and the genuine things that happen here…it’s hard not to see how much it matters.

We’re just getting started 😊

We think it’s fair to say, it’s been crazy!

You have all braved the snow and the cold of late, bringing your little pooches in to see us. Black Friday was just a manic, bustling day and we want to say a huge thank you to you all. Heck, it’s still busy today!

Two things still ring true. McDonalds make socks apparently?! Yeah, Tom can’t believe what he’s seeing either. And, our Forthglade at 6 for £11.50 and Lily’s Kitchen 400g tins at £2.95 is still going strong!

Ohhh they can sense it. Can you?!

As we all capture the magic of the white snow ⛄️ and begin to prepare for winter, we’re busy in the shop (and keeping warm!).

But is it warm enough for shorts, James?! Or is this a summer throwback? Nope! He’s just chuffed about our new Lily’s Kitchen offer as we head in to Black Friday!!

Hope you had a great weekend. A mystery bag made its way into our shop recently. 🤔

James bravely rustled through and found a little note. 📝 Out came the party pack Love Hearts first.

Tom swooped in and grabbed the Parma Violets. James promptly displayed his distaste, however. Blurgh. Who LIKES these things? They’re bizarre!

Oh…might have know Pip would. Ready to inhale anything that slipped through cold fingers onto the floor.

But what was this?! 😮 James found his perfect, Goldilocks treat at the bottom of the bag. Kismet. 😀

It’s that time, people. The Christmas season is upon us, and we’re stocking up big time for it! Check back this week or pop into the shop to see our Christmas line (and window display of course) taking shape. Not long now!!

We did it. We DID IT! 😀

We’ve curated a selection from your favourite brands, including TJ Dry Foods, Arden Grange, Naturaw, Natural Instinct, Animology and…a very special new Treat Box!

We’ll be adding many, many more over the coming months but, go on easy on us! 🫣 There’s been a lot of up and downs on this till system and online shop journey. As you all know, we kinda have a lot of things in our tiny shop 🤯

We truly hope you enjoy this new way of grabbing your favourite items. You can still earn loyalty points, delivery starts at £1.50 and we still have our famous Same Day delivery option (subject to timings).

Smiles all round this week. It’s been insanely busy and the lads have worked so hard that, a little visit from Alex on his day off was a welcomed treat.

Speaking of treats, dropped off a surprise care package of 9 Salted Caramel brownies and 9 Blondies! 🤩 It was enough to put a spring in the step and Alex even skipped into the air!
