The Ilkley group for dementia awareness and support needs more committee members to help spread the load and energise the work it does in the Ilkley area.

The Ilkley group has a few dementia awareness trainers who offer monthly sessions but the committee would like to do more publicity at events, etc. The time commitment can be as short as one hour a month or as long as individuals wish.

Would you like to help your local community and join the friendly team at Ilkley Community Transport? We are a registered charity based in Ilkley and are always looking for CAR DRIVERS to provide lifts primarily to medical appointments for residents in the Ilkley and Addingham area who find public transport difficult to access due to age, illness or disability. Volunteers use their own cars and claim expenses for fuel at a pre-agreed rate. Drivers must be over 21, and have held a full licence for at least 2 years.
