Welcome to Over The Hills, a friendly, reliable, family run dog walking and pet care service. Myself and my husband love the outdoors and the beautiful surroundings of the Wharfe Valley that we are pleased to call our home. We spend as much time as we can outdoors and exploring new trails with our much loved Cocker Spaniel Orla. One day whilst out walking we decided we would make our passion our b
usiness also and created Over The Hills in 2016. We have loved and lived with dogs all our lives and understand they are a very important part of the family. We know the value of the trust you must place with Over The Hills and when your dog is in our care it is treated like one of our own. We have the most amazing bond and attachment with the OTH dogs. Over The Hills looks to make use of the wonderful area we live in, we take the dogs on beautiful walks we’ve found. All these walks are varied routes, that are safe and stimulating. We aim to walk I quiet open places away from the public where the digs can run free and enjoy themselves as much as we do. The dogs will have the best walks with their furry pals and return home feeling happy and content. Most of our dogs have been with us since puppies and have experienced a full journey with us from puppy visits to regular group walks. Please visit our Facebook and Instagram page which show many of these walks and the happy dogs we care for. There are many reasons you may need our services, for example; you are out of the house all day, a full time busy mum or dad, busy working from home, socialisation for your dog or just need the extra help. We can help with all these scenarios by allowing your dog or puppy to join the OTH gang. We have an amazing group of dogs who love their walks and being out with their best furry buddies. A lot of our dogs have been with us since they were puppies and have experienced a full journey with us from puppy visits to regular group walks. We do also care for other small animals with ‘home visits’ when clients are away and the animals can stay at home. After an introductory ‘meet and greet’ we will create a Whatsapp group between ourselves and you which is to discuss all things about your dog. This group allows us to be easily contacted and pictures/videos/info can be shared too. We are fully insured, DBS Checked, Canine First Aid trained and Kelly is in the process of completing a diploma in puppy training and canine behaviour.
