Please be careful walking your dog on the field on staple Lane south killingholme, 2pm I walked my dog on there 4pm she's deteriorated dramatically, had to rush her to the vets they think she's ingested drugs

Hi everyone recently its becoming apparent that I've built my little business up over the last 2 and abit years and had next to no time off ,as I hope you all can understand that my babies are still young and they dont stay little forever ,im really struggling to get the balance right ,so I just thought I'd pop over and put a few dates on here that I won't be working

MAY 10th 11th 12th
AUG 26th-30th
NOV 13TH -2nd December

I can appreciate we all get busy ,but im very much looking forward to some well deserved family time ,I hope you all understand xx 😊 ❤️

Dear all XL bully owners,

We have a fenced field where we can add another gate, would any of you like to use it to let your dogs off the lead?

We realise the rules have now changed but we think every dog should safely be able to run free 🐶

This also works for any other dog who you worry about letting off the lead.

Hi all ,I hope were all having a brilliant Christmas...looking back on this year I've reflected on alot of things and I've decided there will be a few things in the new year that I'm wanting to change ✨️

🐾 If I turn up for your walk but for some reason I cannot get in for example(gate is locked /key in the door) this is your booked time slot for your pooch - I still require payment as I have turned up and cannot fill that slot

🐾 I also require at least 24 hours notice on cancellations of walks ,if less then 24 hours it's £10 cancellation fee*

At least 2 weeks cancellation on boarding if less then 2 weeks there will be a cancellation fee of 25% of the total bill*

(Obviously certain circumstances are understanding)

🐾 I require payment from your walking week Sunday at the very latest - failure to do so your walk slot/day will be filled with other pooches

I hope you all understand, thank you for continued support ,can't wait to see you all in 2024 ❤️🐾

We are aware of an XL Bully being posted around the selling pages who we have in our care. This girl came to us a stray dog on Friday. She is microchipped but to a breeder who has no record of where she went to. She is 13 months old and has possibly had a litter herself. We know people’s opinions of a stray dog kennels is rarely positive but within an hour of her getting here, thanks to our council, she was provided with urgent veterinary care. She has been placed on antibiotics to help clear up her nasty wounds. She has a warm kennel, a comfortable bed, hearty meals and most of all love.
For several years now we have not rehomed direct to the public. This is because the dogs we get in are strays - we know nothing about them and cannot fully test them or have the capacity to home check. Insurance policies have become much more stringent over the years. We use other well established rescue kennels where dogs and homes are thoroughly vetted.
Unfortunately because of her breed our plea to find a suitable rescue space so far is failing.
Comments such as ‘I’ll have it’ on these posts are disheartening 😞
From 31st December it will become illegal for places like ourselves to rehome or transfer these dogs.
Anyone willing to take on one of these dogs before that time must be willing to:
Purchase 3rd party public liability cover
Pay for neutering
Ensure the dog is microchipped and details are up to date
Pay the government a £92.40 fee
Apply for a certificate of exemption to keep the dog
Begin muzzle training and ensure the dog is comfortable to be muzzled when in a public place
Check with the home owner / tenant that there is permission to keep a banned breed in your home
Check whether you are able to leave the dog with anyone should you wish to go away
From 31st December it will be a criminal offence to breed XL bullies, to abandon them or allow them to stray.
It really isn’t as simple as ‘I’ll have it’ 😞

If anyone is aware of a reputable rescue organisation that will take on this girl and rehome her responsibly then please share with them. The only home we would consider directly is someone fully committed to all of the above with no other pets or children in the home. We are not willing to rehome to someone unsuitable for things not to work out and her be euthanised anyway.

Please spare a thought for our staff who have to look after these dogs knowing their fate because times in rescue have suddenly got a whole lot rougher. This isn’t the only girl in this position, there are hundreds across the country and it’s not going to be physically possible to save them all. Keeping a dog kennelled for the rest of its life is not an option. This is the first one through the doors since the ban announcement who isn’t looking like she will be claimed.

We have already had a volume of calls checking up on this girl and our priority is looking after the dogs so if you require further information please Facebook message or email and we will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

Ok so I'd be interested to know your thoughts and experiences?......

So I've been a dog owner for many years ,the one thing I can never get my head around is of your dog barks whilst your out on your walks ,I would probably say 80% of the time other dog owners always either have something to say or u get a strange look.
Now I'm out walking all day long ,so I see this alot ,what gets me though is in todays society it seems that your dog shouldn't act like a dog ,it shouldn't bark or be scared or anxious of things or of other people or other dogs ,why do we get these looks? People need to be more educated and realise dogs are dogs and can bark ,you should never apologise or be embarrassed for your dog barking at something they're unsure of or excited of .
Just because your dog didn't bark that once it was out on a walk doesnt give u the right to look weird at other dog owners ,just smile and walk along 😀

I understand things arnt easy at the moment for everyone ,as much as I absolutely love my job i do also need to provide for my family too ...I dont like to keep reminding but it's getting to the point where I really need to unfortunately
