Please note with effect from the 1st May I will only be working Monday to Wednesday and one Saturday a month.
In addition, I have no choice but to increase my prices by £3 per dog.
For those of you who are long standing customers, you know I don't regularly increase.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyal and continued custom and do hope you understand.

***IMPORTANT ***
GROOMING IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Unfortunately DEFRA updated the guidelines for groomers and we now have to close. I will be contacting everyone who has an appointment with me up to the 16th of February to re arrange.

Their new guidelines clearly states that we can groom only for welfare meaning badly matted animals, animals with skin problems or veterinary referrals for medical conditions.
I spoke to my insurance and I'm only covered for these reasons to work. If you feel your pet falls under these reasons then I will need to assess the Animal, book an appointment, bath dry and clip off. No styling is allowed.
It has been confirmed by North East Lincolnshire council that we must follow these strict regulations until the end of lockdown.

I'm totally devastated and it's not a decision that has been easy to make.

Wishing all my loyal and lovely customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

This year there will be a Christmas draw, all dogs names entered into a hat and I will announce the winner on Christmas Eve.

The council has now decided that Grooming a dog is now essential to its welfare.

I AM NOW ABLE TO REMAIN OPEN.

This week has been so stressful regarding whether I can work or not I have decided to have next week off.

All other appointments will stay as they are if you are in next week I will contact you individually to rearrange.

LOCKDOWN UPDATE

North East Council have said ALL groomers have to close. The only dogs that can be groomed are those needed for their own welfare i.e. Badly matted and skin conditions , which would be cases such as Neglect or cruelty cases.
As much as I would love to continue, my insurance wouldn't be valid and I would be breaking the law.

PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE and let's hope the lockdown ends on 2nd December.

LOCKDOWN THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER

Many of you will be wanting to know if I will be closing or staying open.

The answer is I DO NOT KNOW YET.

I have contacted the local council and awaiting a reply. The Canine and Feline Section Group who advises the government on the health and welfare are due to make an announcement sometime on Wednesday.

As soon as I know any more, you will be the first to know. Fingers crossed I will be able to remain open and adhere to the guidance on social distancing, masks and sanitising etc.
