First craft night tonight is all set up and ready for you all.

6pm, til 8-9pm but you can come whenever you want within this time and leave when you need to.

Plenty of jobs for everyone to help us get these boxes started.

Thank you so much for everyone who has helped so far.

If you are looking to help donate to these boxes, I have attached photos of some of the things we will be looking for going forward. Anything would be greatly appreciated. If you know anyone who can crochet or knit, get them involved and they can create something crafty too.

Will miss searching for you in the house Bruno, and making you all those cosy burrows with a million blankets!

So sorry you did not get more time with us, but you certainly left plenty of memories for us to look back on.

You will forever have one of the best excuses for not showing up to class:

“I can’t come to classes tonight, Bruno has his head stuck in the wall” 🤭😂

⭐️ MISSION STAR ⭐️

Saturday 7th and 14th
6-8pm
North Queensferry community centre

🙏 Helpers wanted 🙏

We are looking for anyone to come and help complete our first mission boxes. These boxes will be targeting vet practices as our first drop offs.

We will gather around tables at the hall and try and get the first boxes finished over the two Saturdays. Tea and coffee available, you can bring snacks on the first week, and for week two we can order pizza once we have finished.

Tasks can include anything you feel comfortable with:

Writing messages in the cards
Decorating with stickers
Making up parcels
Decorating the boxes
Putting cards in envelopes
Making cards (for anyone who can craft)
Wrapping up mugs in cellophane bags

Anyone is welcome to join, any little help with be appreciated. Kids would be welcome but must be supervised.

If anyone wants to come and help us out please comment or message.

If anyone wants to help donate items we would be grateful for any help towards making up our self care boxes :

🚀 LAUNCHING OUR NEW PROJECT 🚀

⭐️ MISSION STAR ⭐️

⭐️ FOR EVERY STAR THAT TWINKLES, SOMEONE CARES FOR YOU ⭐️

Fife Dog Training have raised a lot of money over the years for various charities, in many creative ways, and I always try my best to do what I can as a business owner to give back, no matter how small, and our very large family always pulls together to make these goals happen! 🙏 thank you 🙏

Mental health and su***de in our community is in such a crisis right now, and I know we are all looking and hoping for a bigger fix to this issue, however, in the mean time, I have created a small step in helping towards letting people in our community know that they are appreciated, cared for, and that there is plenty good still in the world 💕

We will be working on creating self-care boxes which we will distribute to our local heroes who are often taken for granted, abused, over-worked and never thanked.

These boxes will be made up of various uplifting items such as motivational and comforting cards, stickers, small gifts, self-care beauty products etc.
We will then hand them into local places, starting with our vets - since our dogs are what brought our FDT family together, and our vets are who help keep them happy and healthy.

We will also be looking to help the staff at NHS, nursing home staff and carers, paramedics, volunteers, and many other members of our community who are always trying to help others have a better day.

I have named this project “MISSION STAR” because if everyone could just believe that they really are cared about, perhaps we would not be saying goodbye to so many.

⭐️”For every star that twinkles, someone cares for you” ⭐️

Our club members are passionate about starting this project, and I hope it helps bring more people together in order to help each other 💕

I have attached photos on ways that you can help donate items to us, or give up some of your time to make items and cards.

I will be setting up a charity craft night at the hall, perhaps monthly, so that we can get together and create these boxes. Please message if you would like to help or get involved - it does not need to involve money - sometimes words written in a card mean so much more than whatever money can buy.

These are made up of a mixture of toys, treats, brand new Christmas products and other pet accessories for dogs.
Many include doggy advent calendars and Christmas snacks

I also have toys only, or food only bags made up for dogs with specific desires.
