**DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS CAT?** Culloden Moor area.

This handsome boy was seen stuck in a tree up a forestry track off the B9006 (rough postcode IV2 5EG) on 31st December, and was still there the following day. He is neutered, but not chipped. He is now in the care of SSPCA Inverness.

Heather and Derik wish you all a Happy New Year!
We are still recovering from the dreadful virus that laid us low over Christmas, but hope to resume 'normal service' soon, so please bear with us.
We would like to thank you all for the support shown to our rescue during 2024, and for the overwhelming response to our Christmas appeal.
Our best wishes and sincere thanks to you all.

Apologies for the lack of activity on our page recently. Heather has been in bed with flu since Friday, and Derik isn’t feeling too great either, although managing to look after the cats.
As always we have had a wonderful response to our Christmas appeal. We had 6 new cats arrive on Friday and they will certainly be well catered for.
Thank you all so much. Have a lovely Christmas, and we hope to be back to normal service very soon.

**DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS CAT?** ~ Dalneigh area, Inverness.

This neutered boy was picked up by SSPCA in Dalneigh around a week ago. He had been living outside a property there for approximately 5 weeks. He is microchipped, but the details are out of date and no longer relevant.
He is now in SSPCA care.
If you think you might know who he belongs to please message us.

***UPDATE*** TIO has had a very emotional reunion with his owner. He is an indoor cat who escaped, and had been missing for a month. We suspect that his family will now have a much happier Christmas!

**DO YOU RECOGNISE THIS CAT?** ~ Merkinch area, Inverness.
We collected this beautiful cat today from the Merkinch area (Carnarc Crescent). He was soaking wet and cold, with a smell of stagnant water, possibly from the Merkinch Nature Reserve? He is very thin, and was staggering around in circles when he was found. He is also very scared, but seems to be appreciative of his heated bed, as he is snuggling in. He has been checked over by our vet and had blood tests done. He is neutered, but not microchipped.
Thanks to Mel for alerting us to his plight.
Do you know if he has a home?

**CHRISTMAS CAT FOOD APPEAL**

It's that time of the year again already! Last year we again had a fantastic response to our Christmas appeal, so much so that the food donated lasted well into Springtime! We appreciate that times are very tough and money is scarce, but if you could spare a few sachets of cat food and be our cats' Santa Claws it would make such a difference. Thank you so much.
We have a donations bin at our door at 37 Creag Dhubh Terrace, and our vet has again kindly allowed us to have a donations box in his waiting room at MacLellan Vets Eastgate in Millburn Road.

**UPDATE** ~ Owner identified, and she is a well cared for cat, as suspected!

This cat has become a frequent visitor to a property in Myrtletown Park in Westhill, and although she looks well looked after, the property owner would just like to check if she has a home nearby.
