It’s been a while ❤️

I didn’t plan a break or really mean to take one but it’s been a month or so since I’ve really posted 😞

I’m trying to juggle a lot of things while trying to keep R’n’D running in the middle of a cost of living crisis. Which I won’t lie has hit my small business HARD. To be open I’ve gone from making at least £2000 a month to about £200 if I’m lucky. It’s a huge hit not just for me but us as a family. My mental health has taken a hit of the usual ‘well im just not good enough’ and honestly I don’t know if I have the strength mentally to keep being on here really trying and it just failing or posts not being seen etc. It really brings me down when this place should be a happy one.

Please know I understand others are in the same or worse positions, however that doesn’t mean when I’m going through this or anyone else that’s going through this that it’s not incredibly tough for us. I have worked so hard to be where I am with R’n’D and it’s so hard to have watched so many others close. I’m determined I WILL stay afloat. I adore what I do but social media not so much. I’m not closing I’m just not going to be on here as much as I know I should as a small business owner.

I’m so incredibly grateful for anyone who has ever even given me a like on here. Honestly something that was just a dream has become so much more than I thought and I won’t let social media break that for me. If you have read this far, your incredible ❤️❤️

As we slow down and enjoy the last few weeks of 2022, I just want to say THANK YOU.
This year has been the toughest of all my 6 years owning R’n’D and I am so grateful that I am still in business at the end of this year, even if it is only just!
As we enter 2023 I hope we can all slow down and enjoy these final moments of 2022, take the time we need for ourselves however that looks. We shouldn’t have to feel guilty or wrong for needing to do what’s right for our own mental health.

I hope 2023 is a brighter year for us all❤️
