Jill Gardner walks on water 🤣🤣
From a dog that showed so many anxieties 30 yards out when coming to its owner to this. We have worked through a number of exercises to slowly reduce these stresses and the video speaks for itself 🥰. Patience and time is a great healer. Very well done Jules and Woody ❤️❤️💪💪❤️❤️
Teaching Heel - progress.
Some of you will have seen my videos earlier in the year teaching puppies the heel position so they know where to stand and what ‘heel’ actually means.
This is Beanie who is not 5 months yet. She is not as keen on training as her brother but we are making progress. Note how calm I remain which helps maintain a calm puppy.
You can also see that I leave her in a stand then call her into to heel as I walk off. This is just testing the understanding of the word heel
I do this is all locations. If it’s a public place then she wears a collar and lead for her safety. Multiple locations means behaviour is generalised.
Enjoy 😊
This is a video of Tain learning to offer behaviour. You will see I wait for him to think about how he earns his reward rather than me keep showing him.
Allowing dogs to think is a vital learning tool.
Enjoy 😍
Teaching Heel
This is my 10 week old golden retriever Tain. He is learning that being ‘at heel’ is rewarding. He is currently learning to be next to me and in a couple of weeks we will start to work on a more specific position.
You will also notice that there is no lead.
All my puppies are clicker trained for all thier basic behaviours 😊
Heel is one of the key behaviours you need to teach a dog. It’s something that is often overlooked or is given up on because it is ‘boring’. But to have a dog walk nicely next to you is a great feeling. 😊
This is our Mabel who is almost a year old.
She is my husbands dog that I am training.
I think she is doing nicely. 😍
A little video from the training holiday I ran in Scotland. 💪😍 Testing out new areas.
Always good to challenge the dogs and handlers 😊
Building Blocks
Sunday we worked on building blocks.

Sometimes it all comes together. Danny is a very different dog now and here he is doing a short complete blind. A few months ago he would never have gone. All credit to his owner.
