Please don’t be upset when we say we are fully booked! I’ve had so many folk looking to book in for the School holidays and we’ve had to turn you away. We had the absolute pleasure of having Jemima stay with us a couple of weeks ago! She is a very sprightly 19 years young! And was quite taken with the cats next door - here she is with Morag and Poppy close by, all minding their own business!! 🐾😻🐾

What a lovely story!!! Microchipping at work.

Remember Val is licensed to microchip cats and dogs at a cost of £15. Please remember that the microchipping of cats is soon to be compulsory. Get in touch 🐾😺🐾

🖤🤍 Meet Patch! 🤍🖤
Patch would like to share his story, and encourage you all to microchip your cats!
Around Christmastime last year, Patch was seen in Achiltibuie. Being a small community, it was soon worked out that he didn't belong to anyone locally, so a good Samaritan started to feed him, then took him in.
On Friday last week while we were holding a surgery in our Ullapool branch, Patch was brought in to see if he had a microchip, he did!! So the phone number on the database linked to the chip was called, and lo and behold he has a home .... In Kiltarlity!! He went missing on Boxing Day, and how he travelled about 75 miles from Kiltarlity to Achiltibuie is anyone's guess, but the moral of the story is microchip your cats, and just as importantly keep your details up to date on the database. Patch was taken back to Conon Bridge with the vet and reunited with his owners that evening! Who doesn't love a happy ending!? 🖤🤍

Thank you so much to everyone who sent Christmas cards and gave us gifts. It’s so very kind of you all! But we must say that the best Christmas gift we received, was from a wee lass who visits us every week from Snap Inverness (Special Needs Action Project). She loved spending time with all the cats over the year and has hand painted this collage of some of her favourite cats as a gift to the Cattery. Isn’t it wonderful?! Thank you to the wonderful staff at SNAP who made this possible (you know who you are!!) 🐾😽🐾

Remember that Val is trained to microchip dogs and cats. A small charge of £15 applies which covers registration with Animal Tracker. Have your precious cat microchipped before it becomes compulsory - money well spent if your cat goes missing. Dogs are to be chipped before they reach 8 weeks of age. Get in touch to make an appointment or have your cat chipped whilst in Boarding with us.

Cats Protection has urged Scottish pet lovers to join its campaign for compulsory microchipping of pet cats – a measure which is already in place for dogs.

He’ll no be happy….but I want to wish my purrrrrrrfect husband, Michael, a very happy 60th birthday for today!! I’ve managed to prize him away for a fish and chips lunch to celebrate with the family - but don’t worry, he won’t be gone for long. He’ll be back taking first class care of his residents (they come first - even before me!!). Please wish him a happy birthday and I’ll make sure he gets to read each and every one of them. Val 🐾😽🐾
