🐶 Meet Milo 🐶
🐾 Milo came to us for physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for a partially torn cranial cruciate ligament which he injured landing incorrectly after jumping up for a stick whilst playing.
🐾 Due to various reasons his owners chose to conservatively manage his condition.
🐾 Six months of rehabilitation and Milo is completely back to his normal life and here he is playing with a new friend.
🐶 Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy can be used to help manage cranial cruciate ligaments both conservatively and post operatively.

🐾 Luna is one of our regulars here at Alba Physiotherapy.
🐾 Luna loves the hydrotherapy and we didn't realise how much she loved the water until seeing this video of her diving in a loch and her owner told us she often stays under for a minute or so at a time!

🐶 Meet Larry 🐶
Larry started coming to us for a luxating patella and is now on a maintenance programme for regular check ups.
Larry gets a combination of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to help maintain the muscles on his hindlimbs and to prevent any future issues.
Larry is always excited to visit us and loves his massage although sometimes he needs a bit of encouragement on the treadmill.
We love having him in the clinic he is a great character, here he is working hard on the treadmill.
🐶Meet Ruadh
🐾Ruadh started coming to Alba Physiotherapy after he had spinal surgery in September 2021 due to losing the use of his hind limbs.
🐶When he first started coming to Alba he couldn’t move his hind limbs at all and there was the possibility that he would never walk again.
🐾After over a year of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy he is able to go on walks with his wheels and you can see that he is walking with his hind limbs and the wheels just help him to balance.

🐴 Meet Tanna, one of our regular Equine clients
🐴 Tanna is a Highland Pony who came to us because she was about to undergo remedial shoeing following an episode of laminitis last year which eft her with pedal bone rotation.
🐴 Tanna is on a maintenance programme with us to help strengthen her hind limbs and core and to make sure she recovers well and returns to a comfortable ridden career.
🐴 We now have limited availability foreseeing horses this side of Christmas, so let us know if your horse needs a physiotherapy check up or rehabilitation for an issue and we will get out to see you as soon as possible!
