We help animals with a range of of conditions including arthritis, dysplasia, sports specific injuries and prevention, general MOTs. We also work with animals that have cruciate issues both pre and post injury, and neurological conditions including nerve and disc problems. We have the only physiotherapy and hydrotherapy centre, including an underwater treadmill and a doggie gym in the Highlands! Outside the clinic we have our Mobile Equine Clinic ensuring your horse remains in peak condition and performs to their optimum level with support from our professional team of equine veterinary physiotherapists

Hi folks.

Do you have plans for Christmas day? Feel free to let us know what you are up too.

Our practice manager Tabitha will be volunteering at this event. If you are at a loose end, fancy a chat or just need to get out the house for a while - pop down and share a cuppa and some crappy cracker jokes :)

However you will be spending the day, everyone at Alba wishes you well and w look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

It's that time of year again where the roads are incredibly busy and journeys are taking twice as long.

Add to that, road and lane closures, accidents and school runs and it's a perfect cocktail to missing your appointment.

We are fully booked this week and if you are late we will still need to finish your appointment at the scheduled time, meaning you (or your pet) will miss some of your treatment.

To avoid this happening please allow extra time to reach us.

As an example, people were taking 20 minutes to get out of the retail park today (Thursday)!

If you are early, you are welcome to sit and wait here or even take a relaxing stroll along the canal which is right on our doorstep.

If you have the misfortune of getting stuck, please give us a wee call (only if safe to do so).

Well that’s a wrap folks!! Huge thank you to everyone for your generosity, for taking part and for cheering us on. We LOVE the Highlanders ( and folk visiting)’s spirit… we even had a hen party join in and bring their party fun. Thank you all. 🐶 Meet Milo 🐶 🐾 Milo came to us for physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for a partially torn cranial cruciate ligament which he injured landing incorrectly after jumping up for a stick whilst playing. 🐾 Due to various reasons his owners chose to conservatively manage his condition. 🐾 Six months of rehabilitation and Milo is completely back to his normal life and here he is playing with a new friend. 🐶 Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy can be used to help manage cranial cruciate ligaments both conservatively and post operatively. 🐶 Please get in touch if you would like to know more.
