Exciting things happening at Leanach!

We are very lucky to have the wonderful Avril Johnston coming to Leanach for a clinic on 1st July and 5th August. She is here for a very limited time due to having such a busy schedule so we have some very limited spots to offer to non-liveries. Lesson slots are between 3pm and 7pm. Please get in touch if you’d like to book in 🐴

We also have a clear round night on the cards in our wonderful jump paddock, details are to follow. The course is currently available to hire so again, let us know if you’d like to book 🐴

A busy (although a tad chilly 🥶) morning here at Leanach Farm Stables with the amazing Jen from Celt-Jen Equine Services and her weigh bridge! Some very lovely comments about how well our horses and ponies are looking. We would definitely recommend a visit from Jen for anyone looking for an accurate weight of their equine friends! We can’t wait to welcome her back soon 🐴🤍

What an incredible day at our inhand show!!

A massive thank you to everyone who came along with their wonderful horses and ponies to take part!

A special mention to Iain and Roseanne for providing the wonderful yard we have, to Ashleigh Reilly for being a wonderful judge and having the hardest job of choosing between such lovely horses and ponies. I saw first hand how difficult this was for her! And to Chris Carrel our photographer who captured so many wonderful photos and memories of the day.
And a massive thank you to the liveries at Leanach who mucked in at every opportunity. We couldn’t have done it without them.

🌟 Show Update 🌟

We can’t get over how quickly our Inhand show has come round! The yard has been buzzing today with people busy preparing for the big day tomorrow.

I’ve finally completed the entry list, a little later than expected but this will allow you to gauge class times etc. Can those in Class One please be ready for the class to commence at 10am.
The Leanach Farm Stables horse box is positioned in the main car park, please come there to get your numbers.
Parking will be split between the main car park and a paddock on the yard. There will be someone on hand to direct you to parking when you arrive.

Our liveries have been busy baking cakes, making sandwiches and more ready for tomorrow. There is also hot drinks, juices, waters, crisps and snacks available to buy so bring along some pennies 💰

Chris Carrel will also be on hand with his camera and all photos will be available to buy from him so have your biggest smile ready.

We can’t wait to welcome you all in tomorrow! See you in the morning 🐴🤍

Our rosettes have arrived and entries are flowing in. It’s set to be a wonderful day!

A quick reminder that it’s the last day to enter today. Entries close at 5pm. We will see everyone next weekend 🐴

Crofters Rosettes has done an incredible job of making our rosettes, but I am very excited for our champion and reserve champion who will walk away with these gorgeous rosettes and sashes!
