When your dog mistakes your phone for a tuggy.
Things can and will go wrong, it's part of the journey. In social media very often we only see what people want us to see. This isn't reality. In real life you will have fantastic days and days were your dog makes off with your mobile.

Challenge of the week.
'The one second challenge'.
This week we are focusing on building in speed to your dogs down. An immediate down has countless benefits to not only dog sports but also every day life.
We start with getting an understanding of where your dogbis now (how long will it take your dog to down) and then we work to reduce that time and build immediacy into its delivery.
As always, please post up videos and ask any quyou might have.
Hi everyone,
Welcome to Next Level Dog Training Club.
Because we cannot meet just now, due to Covid, I will be posting weekly challenges.
All challenges will fit into the criteria for the foundation level with UK Dogsports.
I will be using my new dog (Buck), who I have only had for 2 weeks, to demonstrate the challenges. We are still very green as a working team so it will be an ideal opportunity to show how I correct mistakes as well.
The first challenge is the 'down stay'.
Dogs should be in a down position, on lead, for 1 minute.
I decided to give this a go this morning, as a spur of the moment thing. I completely cocked up.
•No timer (was guessing at what was a minute and went 46 seconds over).
•Didn't review requirements (put dog into a sit and not a down, plus dog was off lead).
•Put dog into close and forgot to cue him into a sit (dog read my mind and corrected it for me.
I could easily have waited and corrected all this but want everyone to realise we are Al human and will mess up.
Post your videos, comments and rants in the comments section below.
