Puppy training in Aberdeenshire for dogs of all breeds and ages! Puppy training takes time, patience, understanding, calmness and consistency.

All our training is outside, in the place where you need to teach them to behave most! We have all breeds of dog come to class. Although you may not want to work your dog or have a working breed, we aim to achieve the same end result – an obedient and well behaved puppy having covered sit, stay, recall and heel work. All dog training classes are held on a farm ‘Wester Fintray’ just outside Kintore

which is beautiful setting. We have a range of private training ground available to us from the floodlit paddock which is a small fully enclosed area for younger dogs, to larger more open area for gundog work.

This is Bertie! 🖤 He is a 9 month old Labrador who has been coming for lessons for a few months now. His owners are training towards some working Gundog tests next Spring. 🍃

Group walks are aimed at dogs and owners who would like to advance their training and gain more confidence while out and about with other dogs, on and off lead. A chance to socialise your dog appropriately around like minded people and dogs. Different location each week in the Kintore/Inverurie area!

✅Fun gundog sessions for all breeds of dog, lasting 1 hour. The sessions are pay as you go with a WhatsApp group to ensure we have a minimum of 3 dogs in a session.

✅£20 per session - pay as you go! WhatsApp group to keep everyone up to date.

✅Some basic obedience required. We cover retrieving and water retrieves along with other fun activities to improve steadiness and good manners in the company of other dogs.

Last class for Tuesday evening groups! Double fun fly through recall. Keep up all the good work and remember to keep your active dogs mind busy!

CHALLENGE! Monday classes started working with placeboards 2 weeks ago to help their 'stay' and steadiness. They had 2 weeks to complete the following challenge! Bounce a ball on the board 3 times, throw the ball over their dogs head and roll a ball down the dogs back! Several of our owners and dogs managed! 🐕 🐕 🐕 Here is Liam with Eadie the 6 mth Vizsla!

End of the block, already? A bit of fun with recall on the last day! Monday classes you have been awesome! It is fantastic to see the progress you have made over the last 7 weeks. Keep up the training and you will have the well behaved obedient dog that you want! 🐾 🐾 🐾

Starting work on 'stay' this week with our groups using the place boards. Fantastic concentration by pups in the Sunday evening classes.

After a block of classes I had a top up lesson with this lovely standard poodle Mhesa and her owner. They were struggling to connect on a walk, with the dog ranging too far. We increased the amount of physical contact and eye contact so that Mhesa wanted to stay closer to her owner. #happydoghappyowner #theworkingpuppycompany #fundogtraining #totalrecall

In this lesson we had Lynsey and Molly the lab. Now 20 mths old she's strong and lacking focus on her owner off lead. We take dogs up to the age of 1 year in group classes, individual lessons for older dogs and also cater for more specialised gundog training. We have a range of private training ground available to us from our purpose built paddock which is fully floodlit and enclosed, to the orchard which is a small fully enclosed area for younger dogs to larger fields for older dogs.
