We just wanted to thank all our supporters for their support. Our recent Christmas Fair and Raffle raised nearly £2,000, which is a fantastic amount. In addition all of those that collected tokens from the EADT will be thrilled to learn that this will provide us with another £950. A wonderful way to end the year! Thankyou all once again.

Opening times over Christmas.

Our last rehoming day is this Saturday 14th. No more cats will be going out until January. You are still more than welcome to express an interest in adopting of course but we viewings will be restricted due to staff numbers.

The shop will remain open until Saturday 21st. (We still have a lot of Christmas decorations as well as gift ideas so come in while we are still open!)

We will hold a Clinic as usual on Thursday 19th but we will be closed on Boxing Day 26th.

Everything is back to normal as of the 2nd January.

We wish all our wonderful supporters a Merry Christmas and a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year.

We want to thank the staff and visitors to Dunelm, Anglia Retail Park, Ipswich. We were amazed at how man donations had been collected for our charity when we visited yesterday. The photo shows just some of these piled up in the entrance hall as we ponder where to store it all!

With thanks to Kerry who spent this morning snapping away to get this much better photo of our beautiful little pair Hera and Zeus (you may have seen them hanging off the door of their pen last week!)

Not a great photo because the little one doesn't hang around long enough to focus! Here we have Hera and Zeus, who have been with us a while and need a loving home. Hera is in the region of 2 to 3 years old and is the Mother of Zeus who was born earlier this year. They rely on each other and we want to home them together for their sakes. We are open morning for viewings!

We are refurbishing our Clinic and have this big, old, solid unit to dispose of. Underneath the paint it's solid wood and must be quite old judging by the green plastic handles (one of which is missing). Could do with some TLC but could make a fantastic bit of furniture for someone. If you are interested please make contact here or through the shop. Suitable donation to the charity would be appreciated.

We are putting out the Halloween stock to distract us from the rain. Come and have a look around the shop. Something for (almost) everyone.

We have opened up the hallway of the centre to give us more light. However we now need a carpenter to put in a bannister. Anyone available?

08/07/2024

We had a fantastic response to our last post and have had a number of visitors to the Centre to view the cats. Several have been reserved and will soon be off to their new homes, so thankyou everyone! However, this just means we are able to let more cats in from our waiting list who need new homes. We are therefore going to have an Open Day on Saturday 3rd August, from 10am to 12 noon. The shop will be open and staff and volunteers will be on hand to speak to visitors and show you around the Centre and, of course, the cats.

03/07/2024

As we are still completely over-run with cats of all ages needing new homes we will be holding a Summer Open Day on Saturday 3rd August. We will be open 10 to 12. Refreshments available and the second hand shop will be open as usual.

28/06/2024

This week we have had two "strays" brought in. Both had microchips and have been swiftly reunited with their owners, one of them within an hour. Owners, rescuers and us all happy! Get them chipped!

01/06/2024

And.... we are open. Lots of tea coffee cakes and of course cats. And the shop.

28/05/2024

Reminder Open Day and Spring Fair this Saturday 1st June 10am to 12 noon. We have sun hats and umbrellas for sale on the day so we're ready for whatever the British weather has to throw at us. See you there!
