✨ EXCITING NEWS ✨

Laura’s Dog Grooming will be stocking a small selection of natural dog treats. These are now available to buy in the salon and over time there will be a range of different flavours.

🎅🏽 Keep an eye out for some special treats for the festive season too! 🎅🏽

We also have a range of handmade dog bandanas so if you are interested please ask when you are in for your appointment 😁

Just a reminder of how special each and every dog I groom is! I’m so sorry to everyone who has lost a fluffy friend recently 😢❤️
And thank you for letting me be part of their life 🥰

One of the hardest things about my job is hearing about the passing of your dogs.

I have received the sad news about a number of dogs over the past few weeks and I just want to say thank you for choosing me to help make your pooch feel and look their best!

I love and have built a bond with each and everyone of them!

Rest In Peace all you lovely doggies, you will all be missed so much! 😇❤️🐾

Good morning everyone ☀️

These are the times I am open this month.

I am currently on holiday and will return on Tuesday 4th June so I WILL NOT be able to reply to any messages until then.

I will then be OPEN 5th and 6th June

CLOSED 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th June but WILL be available for messages.

OPEN 13th June

CLOSED 15th and 16th and WILL still be available for messages

Then finally CLOSED 17th 18th 19th for my Birthday trip away and WILL NOT be available for messages

I will then be working hard and have got lots of dogs booked in to make up for it so will be a busy few weeks after that!

I am then fully booked through out July and August and have lots of clients who have done their block bookings until Christmas. I will fit everyone in where I can but this means I am still not taking on any new dogs!

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a lovely Easter!

I am experiencing a high number of messages and calls at the moment so please be patient and I will get back to you.

I am no longer taking on any new dogs as I am fully booked. However, you can be put on to my cancellation list for a 1 off cancellation appointment.

I highly recommend rebooking your dog at your appointments so you know you are booked in! I have no more spaces in April and May and very limited for June appointments.

Thank you all for your support and patience. Back to work today after a lovely Easter break.

It’s deshedding season 🥳

This is Cally after her first ever groom.
We didn’t get everything done that we would have liked to do but she left feeling happy and comfortable. As welfare is my top priority I won’t force a dog to do anything they don’t want too!

We will build it up slowly to get her completely comfortable with grooming ❤️

This is Bandit!
We had a bit of a troublesome start as he was so so nervous and didn’t really like being touched or away from his owners. But now after some hard work we are able to achieve a full groom and he is much more comfortable and confident in the salon! 🥳

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and new year as I know I have 🥳

I will be returning to the salon on Thursday 4th and we have some busy days ahead!

I am starting to go through all my messages today so be patient, I will get to you 😁
Most of my messages are about changing appointment times and days, please be aware that I do not have any space now until the end of February/ start of March and I have no space to rearrange appointments at all at the moment.

🌟With Christmas fast approaching here are some thoughts to consider for a happy and safe festive season for you and your puppy / dog:

🎄Many foods and drinks such as Christmas pudding, cakes, mince pies, chocolate, macadamia nuts and alcohol are toxic or harmful if consumed by pups.

🎄In addition, cooked bones, Christmas tree pine needles, wrapped gifts and tinsel can also pose as hazards potentially causing internal blockages if consumed or injuries to feet.

🎄Ensure any candles that are burning are out of reach and be aware that the sounds of Christmas crackers, additional visitors, noise and changes to routine may all have an effect on your puppy.

🌟What can you do to help provide a happy and safe Christmas?
🐾You can:

🌟Ensure safety and protection from being able to consume toxic or harmful foods, plants, drinks, gifts and decorations
🌟Provide a quiet, undistrubed space away from people and the noise
🌟Supervise interactions with children at all times
🌟Provide food that will not cause an upset stomach
🌟Provide a nice walk or run either on or off lead / longline
🌟Try to keep to your puppies routine as much as possible.

Can you believe a year ago I opened the doors to my very own salon!

I have so many people to thank for supporting me through all my highs and lows to get me where I am today. I couldn’t be more proud of what I have created at Laura’s Dog Grooming.
