🐕🐾 How do you plan your walkies on a hot day? If the weather is warm, exercise can be too much for our dogs. Here are our top tips for keeping your pooch safe during a sizzling summer ☀️👇

🌅 Walk your dog at dawn or dusk when temperatures are cooler to reduce the risk of heatstroke.

✋ Place your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds - if it is too hot for your hand, it's too hot for your pooches paws!

👃 Take care if your dog is older, overweight, has a thick coat or suffers from breathing issues.

❌ If in doubt, don't go out! If it's too hot, your dog will be safer at home.
