Jewellery items are made as keepsakes or memorials as they can include horse tail hair, pet hair, ashes and engraved names. Tail hair of a finger thickness and as long as possible will be required to give a neater braid. Removing a sample of this size will not be noticeable if it is taken from the centre of the tail, just below the tip of the dock.

The Sterling Silver Double Band Horse Hair Bracelet... these were made with the sterling silver horseshoe european charm bead and L beads on request in loving memory of a beloved horse. Handled with care and all unused hair was plaited and returned, and smaller offcuts banded and returned in a sily drawstring purse.

With compassion and care, I love to create unique pieces of jewelry and keepsakes to help you cherish your well loved pets and animals. These keepsakes make great gifts to yourself and your friends and can include horse tail hair, pet hair, ashes and engraved names.

Equestrian memories first started when I lost the pony of my dreams, the one that captured and stole my heart with his mischievous and fun loving personality. When he was ready to cross rainbow bridge, I took a piece of his tail and plaited it... I looked at it everyday until I thought of a way to keep it with me. That was when I created my first horse hair bracelet and started to have requests from friends to make them one too.
