Hi we are Allison and Jeff and we offer a Dog Walking and Home Boarding service for your four legged friends. We have been dog owners for the past 30 years and established the business in 2015. We are based on Fellgate Estate, NE32 and can cover South Tyneside, Washington and surrounding areas. WALKING
For walking we cover Jarrow, Hebburn and Pelaw and we will pick your dog up and take them to t
he walk such as park, beach etc with up to 3 other sociable dogs for play time and socialisation. Our walks are for an hour and your dog will be dropped at home afterwards. We do walk in all weathers, however walks will be adjusted accordingly depending on the conditions (i.e hot weather we will go to shady/wooded areas or places with water and play enrichment games). Your dog will get wet and muddy over the winter months. At the moment our walks are Monday to Friday only. Weekends may be possible by prior arrangement, however we do not offer regular slots on a weekend.
£13 per walk (1 hour group walk per dog)
£10 per walk (30 minute group walk per dog)
£18 per walk (1 hour solo walk per dog)
£14 per walk (30 minute solo walk per dog)
Solo walks are outside of our busiest period which is after 2.30pm Monday to Friday. HOME BOARDING
For boarding your dog will live in our home as part of our family and will come out with us on regular walks alongside our walking clients. For boarding we do ask that your dog is fully vaccinated including boosters, or if you choose not to vaccinate a titre test can also be accepted (Leptospirosis is still required if you choose to opt for a titre test). We also ask that they are neutered if over 18 months of age. If your boarding covers a weekend we do go further afield for our walks so they will get an extra adventure too while they stay with us (We often head for the Northumberland Coastal areas)
We hold a 5 star ����� license for boarding issued by South Tyneside Council. License Number LN000006742
£30 per Calendar Day (1 dog)
An additional charge of £10 per day applies if boarding falls on a Bank Holiday. Drop off / Pick up times for boarding are
AM - 7am to 9am
PM - 4pm to 6pm
(If your dog has not boarded with us before then we would ask that they arrive in the AM slot so that they get the chance to spend the day with us and get to know us before it is time to settle down on an evening. The cost is the same regardless of chosen slot for arrival day as price is per day and not per 24 hours)
(If your dog is collected in the AM slot on day of departure (Between 7am and 9am) no charge will be made for that day)
A 25% deposit is required to secure your dates and the remainder is due in full before boarding starts. Payments can be made via Cash or Bank Transfer. All major Debit/Credit Cards are also accepted. QUALIFICATIONS

Alfie, who was our very first client when we started out nearly 9 years ago had to be put to sleep forever today 😢
Some of you will remember Alfie or know him from the estate. He was a lovely lad and will be sadly missed.
Run free over that bridge Alfie. Mac will look after you! 🌈

Just a reminder of the dates we're closed over Christmas.
We will be walking as usual up to and including Friday 22nd and then we will return on Wednesday 3rd January 2024.
For those of you that have set days we will pick up as normal from Wednesday 3rd unless you tell us otherwise. If you're off and not going to need us please could you let us know by 22nd December.
For anyone that needs ad-hoc days on 3rd/4th and 5th January could you also please let us know what you need by 22nd as we won't be answering messages over the Christmas break.

Xylitol is a sweetener that can be found in many products marketed as ‘sugar-free’. It is most commonly found in chewing gums, but can also be an ingredient in some baked goods, peanut butters, ice creams and chewable/sweetened medications.
So far this year, we have taken 560 calls involving xylitol.
It is important to stress that a small quantity of xylitol can cause significant complications in dogs and we recommend that advice is sought after any exposure.

We will be holding 2 Christmas Party Days on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th December.
The dogs loved these last year. Limited spaces are available, so will be done on a first come, first served basis.
Pick up approximately 10am and drop off approximately 12.30pm
Prize for best Christmas fancy dress on each day 🎁
£20 per dog (must be paid at time of booking to secure a space).
*this is obviously outdoors and in the Winter so your dog will likely get wet and muddy. If for any reason the ground conditions prevent us from attending a full refund will be given*

It's that time of year again...
Many shops and supermarkets have stocked up on festive rawhide treats and stockings. THESE SHOULD NOT BE FED TO YOUR DOG.
Many of us are confused and outraged that these are still being made and sold. However, there are lots of dog owners out there who may not be aware of the dangers of rawhide- we need to do our best to educate them.
✋ Rawhide production is generally far from what you would call 'natural'. In many cases, the final product has been subjected to all sorts of potentially harmful chemicals, such as bleach or hydrogen peroxide
✋If your dog swallows large pieces of rawhide, they can get stuck in the esophagus or lower in the digestive tract. In some cases, rawhide obstructions require emergency abdominal surgery to remove the blockage and if it doesn't come in time, dogs can die.

Mack has been here boarding for 3 weeks now and has taken Rodney under his wing and they've got along great. Roddaz will miss him when he goes home next week 🐶🥰 All quiet and snoozing😴

Didn't take Rodney long to learn the snuffle mat. He has met Poppy and Cooper this morning and Stan is here too for an overnighter and all is good. Poppy and Cooper have Rodney's little brother too so once he is allowed out he will join us for boarding too so can't wait to see him again ❤️

Rodney and Dax (one of our boarding dogs) have made friends and are loving it now. Dax was a bit unsure of Rodney when he arrived but they've made good doggy pals now 🥰.. too cute. Diesel was dying to join in but I think he realised he was too big and just watched them from the sidelines bless him. He has been so gentle with them ❤️
Our very own lunatic has been back at the vet today for his check up after his elevated liver enzymes a couple of weeks ago. He has had more bloods done and his levels are still elevated but no where near as high as they were so they're going in the right direction 🙏👌 He has actually been sick again today but we're pretty sure it isn't related and the greedy sod has tried to swallow his tripe stick whole as it came back up the same as it went down! This bloody dog has never had any sense! 🙄
❤️ Olly ❤️ Please keep Olly in your thoughts 🙏 He hasn't been well this last week (vomiting on and off since last Monday) and he had a blood test yesterday which has brought up elevated liver enzymes. He is back at vet in the morning to try and find out what's going on. Fingers crossed it isn't anything too major 🙏. We're under no illusions he is no spring chicken at 12 years old but he has been doing so well so hoping there are a few more years left in the old dog yet!. Nothing but a worry these dogs ❤️😩
