Well that's us closed.
I would just like to say thank you to all of our customers and everyone that has supported Lanton Hill kennels over the past 3 years.
It's been an emotional couple of months saying good bye, not just to the dogs we have looked after and cared for, but the dogs that have became part of our family.

P.s thank you to everyone that left cards for me to cry over and the wine/ chocolate to get me through the next couple of weeks when I feel like I'm missing all of the pups.

For those of you who have a reactive dog, don't give up hope. The German Shepherd in the picture below is my beloved pet dog that I have spent a number of years working with to try and reduce her reactivity and be able to be around other dogs without worrying she isn't going to like them. She has aggression issues with dogs that have an aggressive nature due to having an unfortunate history with dogs.

My dog can now be around nice and calm natured dogs and be able to have fun with. She was always muzzled when around dogs just incase she decided she didn't like the other dog because it was safer for everyone. She hated the muzzle and it made her worse at times from frustration. This photo was taken last week. If your dog is reactive don't give up hope.

Having a reactive dog can be a lonely, stressful and sometimes exhausting experience. Having people judge you when your dogs kicking off in the street and having that feeling of giving up all hope that your dog will get better really gets you down. My dog is still reactive and can be temperamental at times but the progress we have made has been unbelievable. We no longer have to walk in solitary and miles away from others just so we can have a quiet walk with no reacting. We can now go walks with a good friend and her dogs and have fun rather than worry about whats going to happen. Don't give up hope if you relate to this post. It will get better.

Super proud of you and creating such a good buisness where you focus on what the dogs needs are. ❤️ 🐶
