Wardhouse Equestrian Centre We are also an accredited Pony Club Centre and run weekly rallies that cover stable management and riding.

We are a family run business offering a variety of services ranging from livery, breaking and training to our fully established riding school catering for riders of all ages and abilities. This allows children and young adults to work towards achievement badges and certificates that are recognised internationally. BHS Stages training is also available for stages 1 and 2 (for further exams please contact us) on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm - 8pm.

We are looking for another part time member to join our team at Wardhouse Equestrian Centre.

We are looking for a cheery, hard working and reliable individual who can work as part of our friendly team and is also able to work independently while other staff are doing their job roles. All regular yard jobs needed, so horsey experience is required.

shifts and possibly a weekend day.

13.2hh piebald cob gelding 9y/o. Has been used in riding school doing lead rein and teenager/ small adult lessons. Good in traffic.
Looking for new home doing light school work / hacking. His work load is limited due to stiffness in hind legs and is reflected in price.
Can be head strong on the ground.
Lives out year round and easy to catch.

Our gorgeous pony Candy is looking for her next little person to cuddle and enjoy spending time with 🙌 She has been a brilliant school pony for us for a number of years and it's now time for the next chapter 🥰
She still has plenty to give as a low level lead rein pony, teaching a small child the ropes. She is super to handle, lives in a mixed herd, good with farrier, vet, etc.

Lovely 14.1hh companion pony available

Our lovely pony Dee is looking for her next home as a companion pony. She is 16yo and lives happily and fuss free in our field of mares and had previously lived in a mixed herd with no problems.

She is easy to handle, keeps weight well and gets on with everyone 😊 Happy to be stabled and is regularly handled by children. She's a sturdy sort and has been a wonderful pony for us over the years 🥰 She is retiring due to arthritis and is therefor not offered as a riding pony.

We are looking to find a loving and kind home for this special girl and happy to transfer ownership over to her new family 🐴

Due to the weather being worse than expected, are not running lessons and pony walks today ☃️ We will run a 1.30pm pm Pony Club indoors and anyone in the 10am group is welcome to join in if they want to 😊 Ponies are snug and warm in their stables ☃️🐎🐴🥰
We will automatically write lessons forward for next week, unless we hear otherwise 🐴

❗️❗️Dear Customer,

We regret to inform you that due to the current financial climate a lot of our costs have spiralled, in some cases trebling. In order for us to continue to offer good quality tuition we have made the difficult decision to restructure the riding school. This will take effect from the 1st October 2024.

Moving forward we will continue the full range of lessons with an increase in cost. However we will offer a more personalised service by featuring longer lessons with fewer riders per session and weekly riding for Pony Club.

Our aim is to have a more rounded approach to our lessons. To this end, there will be more involvement in preparing the horses; for example, grooming, tacking and untacking. We feel this will give a better understanding of overall horsemanship.

The new price structure will be:

• Private lesson £50 for 45 min
• Masterclass / Mini Masterclass / Group £45 for 60 min (max 3 riders)
• Pony club £38 for 90 min (max 6 riders)
• Pony walk £30 for 30 min

We would like to thank all our clients for their support over the last 17 years and look forward to seeing you again as the school takes its next step.

❗ Filming at Wardhouse ❗

We would like to make all of our customers aware of our media policy at Wardhouse. There is to be no unauthorised filming of lessons and we have signage around the yard to highlight this. We understand that some riders would like parts of their lesson filmed to show their progress and for their own enjoyment. Staff are happy to do this during the lesson if requested and we can forward them once the session is finished.

From our perspective, we have to be considerate of staff being filmed at work without their consent, as well as the safety and privacy of other riders and clients.

We are sure everyone can understand this and thankyou for your cooperation.

What a great time we had a pony camps this summer 🐴🐎🦄💕! Lots of fun, sunshine, ponies and friends to make special memories with! ☀️🐎🙌 Well done to all our riders who improved tremendously during camp and it was great to see everyone trying to hard in their lessons, hacks and show at the end💕 💪🥳
We had great fun riding in the arena, fields and hacking out and all the ponies enjoyed so many cuddles from their riders - and some wild hairstyles 🙌💃🥰
A big thankyou goes to our ponies, helpers and staff who we couldn't run camp without - thanks team! 🥰 We will be collecting pictures and videos of camp 2 over the next few days, but if you have pictures of either camp and want to send thr to us, that would be great and we'll add them to the collection 🥳 Well done everyone! 🙌🐴🥰☀️💕💃🐴😁🦄🐎
