Been a while since I posted, here’s a few pictures of a commission featuring the humble pheasant looking rather energetic as they do in spring. 2024 has been a rough year work wise following a hand injury in spring and have been working hard recently to catch up from the delays caused and am relieved to be getting on top of the backlog. Making Taxidermy a career was the best choice I’ve ever made and some days are super special, today was one of those, we returned the Harrris Hawk (previous post) which was the owners sons childhood bird. Following on we made a round trip to drop off this Pere x saker (commission) who was a 20 yr old bird that was dear to his owners heart, with the added privilege of holding and spending time with his stunning live birds to complete a magical day
