For those who don’t know the back story of Blossoms Field, the idea came from my lovely friend Blossom a rescue who can’t be let of the lead.

She’s very nervous around humans she doesn’t know, she wears a nervous dog collar and uses a nervous lead…

So therefore the field gives all nervous dogs and owners a safe space…

Good Tuesday…

I’ve gone all radio silent on you again…it’s that time of year when I like to bury my head in the very wet and muddy sand…

First thing…The road works in Crosshills will be with us for a while. Allow plenty of extra time to get to us or plan an alternative route.

We will continue to put down some wood chip in the very wet areas of the field, mainly the entrance and make you a clear path to avoid and try and prevent it getting too muddy by the entrance.

I’ve cleaned the field this morning it’s tricky with the longer grass to look for our dogs poops please try your best.

Time keeping is even more important at this time of year, if using the paw wash please count this in to your booked time. I sometimes think booking an hour at this time of year is better, then you don’t have to rush at all…

Good Morning….

It’s a beautiful day today…it is now that time of year when you need to come prepared to walk the field.

Definitely wear the right footwear, your dogs will love it especially if they like to wallow in the wet grass and muddy patches.

I’ll supply towels but they might run out during the day so bring a spare.

The hose is there for you to use to
wash down boots and paws. Make sure you include this in your booked time.

Don’t eat into other people’s time, your booked slot also includes getting in and out of your car.

I recommend an hour then you can relax and enjoy plenty of time in the field and know you won’t run into anyone else.

Don’t forget we have a self service dog wash. Bookable online or message me direct.
