π Jasper was the last adult ( not inc pregnant mums or mums with babies ) to be rehomed from the huge multi cat rescue we did earlier this year. This boy will always be special to so many of us π
Hereβs an update from his new family π
Jasper has settled beautifully and has developed an instant relationship with our Jersey whoβs a two year old female. Heβs very loving, affectionate and loves playing with a jingle bell bauble that he manages to carry around in his mouth π€£π€£π€£
As he was underweight heβs slowly gaining some weight and he had a trip to see Mary at the vets about his eye condition and had some new meds which has made a big difference.
I lost two of my older cats recently, one came from you, Hugo. Both had HCM (Hypertrophic cardio myopthathy). Itβs broken my heart to find out at the vets that she thinks Jasper may have Stage One of HCM but all we can do is monitor it and most importantly give him the best life we possibly can, which we will do anyway.
As you know he came from the 40 cat household rescue and he was the last adult to be rehomed. Iβd like to thank everyone involved in that rescue project because without you we wouldnβt have had this amazing opportunity to welcome this gorgeous boy into our home and lives and give him the love and care that he deserves.
Take Care and love to you all β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
