🐶 Fabulous Frankie - available to adopt 🐶

Frankie is a lively one year old Staffie x French bulldog who sadly has to be rehomed as his family are moving due to their landlord selling the house 😔

They have tried to find alternative dog friendly accommodation without success.
They are heartbroken at losing Frankie who they put a lot of effort in to finding and welcoming into their home.

He is a beautiful dog who loves to play 🥰

🐕 He is wary of other dogs and has had limited socialisation but is only young and is keen to learn

🐾 He has already learnt basic commands but has never been off the lead outside the garden so his recall will need a little work.

🏡 He is housetrained.

👶🏼 He gets on great with children.

👭He is enthusiastic with visitors but quickly settles down with a toy or a bone.

Could you give Frankie the home he deserves? ❤️ Email [email protected] with all enquiries 📧

It's a new day, and a new month which can only mean - a new page on our calendar!

🍂October's poster girl is Poppy!

Poppy was only 9 months old when she came into ADIN. I bet she never thought she'd be an Instagram star with her very own page! Follow her on the_sweetlifeofpoppy and see how far this wonderful girl has come thanks to her dedicated family, Oliver and Rebecca ❤️.

Thank you to Kenai's Kreatures for sponsoring October in our 2025 calendar.

We are so, so pleased to announce the adoption of all 4 of our little Pug puppies.

We wish all 6 had made it to now, but sadly that wasn't to be.

The past couple of months have been a roller coaster of emotions. There have highs, sadly some lows, but overall a lot of joy. These girls have been an absolute pleasure to raise. Watching their development and their personalities grow has been extremely hard work but also a huge privilege. It has very much been a team effort from two families. We would like to thank Ruth and Nicola and families for their dogged determination, care, assistance, sleepless nights and vet trips (emergency and scheduled).

Paul and Sharon adopted Poppy & Lola from us in 2019. They are now the big sisters to Pearl & Agnes!

Bee (now Olive) has been adopted by Sarah and gained herself a big brother in Vinny!

And finally, Maude (now Isobel) has been adopted by Karen and Simon. She too has a big brother called Alfie, as well as several cats and two horses!

We wish them all the best and look forward to hearing the continued progress and adventures these little girls have in the future.

Thank you to the staff at Kingsway Veterinary Group and BAILDON VETERINARY CENTRE for their amazing care and patience.

🥰🐶 Meet Brock! 🐶🥰

He is stunning a 4 year old siberian husky, or as we call him the siberian sweetheart ❤️

His broken hearted owner had no choice but to look for a new home due to ill health.

Brock has a heart full of love for anyone who is willing to give him a cuddle or a walk.
Brock is petite for his breed and less vocal than most huskys, only using his voice if he's really excited or left alone.

Brock has already been through so much after being hit by a car last year and having several surgeries. Despite all this, he remains a sweet and gentle dog.

Brock likes his lazy mornings and watching the world go by. Don't get us wrong, Brock loves his walks too! 🐕 He loves to feel the wind through his fluffy coat and the grass between his toes 🌿

Brock walks very well on the lead and rarely pulls. He is not allowed off lead due to his breeds tendency to wander. He will walk as far as you want to go, provided there's somewhere comfy to nap afterwards.

Brock will make a great companion, especially for someone with breed experience who already speaks husky. He will give you love, affection, and his toys (if you're lucky)❤️

Back in March a beautiful dog was found wandering around Gargrave. He had been dumped.

Now named Wally, this gorgeous boy came into ADIN via the dog warden.

Wally went into foster. It became apparent that Wally had some health issues including a wobbly back end. It was looking like this young lad was going have an uncertain future.

But having received some tender loving care to gradually build his strength up, Wally worked on Susan & Brian's heart strings. We received the most wonderful news when they announced they wanted to adopt!

We think Wally approves ❤️.

Thank you to all who have been part of Wally's journey. From the person who spotted him still wandering around Gargrave the following day and took him to Ashlands Veterinary Centre. To Langcliffe Kennels and Cattery who cared for him in the hope that he would be claimed by his owner, Kingsway Veterinary Group for their excellent care and treatment and finally Susan and Brian.

🎉🐶 It’s a pup party! 🐶🎉

Back in September 2022, Iris came to us with a total of 8 pups who were only 3 days old 🥺 They were fostered by the amazing Marie Feaviour until they went onto their new homes!

To celebrate their 3rd birthday, Iris and the pups met up and had a pup party 🎉🎈check out the videos in the comments!

They also collected and raised a donation of £50 so a massive thank you to all the families that came together and who have given the dogs their furever homes 🥰

Bags of character and still playful in her middle age.....please welcome Dina to the ADIN family.

Dina is an 8 years young Jack Russell needing a new home through no fault of her own. Her owner's mobility is deteriorating and unfortunately there have been some falls and trips resulting in injuries. She has made the very difficult decision to rehome her companion to keep them both safe.

Dina has bags of personality 🤩. She can be a little barky when excited, what Jack Russell isn't???. But she does calm down pretty quickly.

Dina has previously lived with cats 🐈 and would likely love another cat companion.

Whilst Dina is absolutely fine with other dogs outside, she can be a little spicy in the home. She would possibly be fine with a quieter, calm dog.

✅️ House trained
✅️ ok to be left up to 4 hours
♥️ loves her ⚽️ - ball is life!
✅️ neutered
✅️ vaccinated
✅️ microchipped

❗️ Dina hasn't lived with children but has encountered visiting grandchildren. She can be little grumbly when the kids get particular attention from Grandma - so they tend to not be overly demonstrative in Dina s presence.

If you think you are the companion for Dina please email [email protected] to express your interest. Subject to a home check.

🐣 We have been keeping a secret 🤫

But now we would like to introduce you to our 4 new little girls!

Pearl 💜, Maude 🧡, Agnes 💚, and Bee 💛

The pups are Pugs. Originally, there were 6 puppies who came to us at 3 days old when mum was too ill to feed them. The owner reached out to us to ask for our help as they felt they couldn't commit to the hand rearing.

Unfortunately, we lost Appa 🤎 at 10 days old and then Enzo 🩷 at 16 days old. Pugs are considered to be one of the hardest breed of dog to hand rear - to have 4 out of 6 fighting fit is nigh on a miracle.

The girls are finding their feet and starting on solids. Their funny little characters are coming through. At nearly 4 weeks old they will be ready to go to their new homes around the 20th September 2025.

Our girls have been hand reared and so love the company of people. They are currently in homes with other well behaved, social dogs and cats. They are used to car travel and are already toileting by themselves on puppy pads.

We are inviting applications initially from people already home checked who wish to be considered to adopt one of our precious girls. Please note, applicants will need to be home much of the time and be happy to continue house training and socialising.

The Pug is a very clever and sociable breed that can live up to15 years old. So, please bear this in mind when applying.

Please email [email protected] to apply.
