Vet Ruth spent new year in Northern Norway. Where she got to see some incredible sled dogs, these guys are used to living outside in temperatures of -20 to -30 🥶. Today Kelsall has hit -8 and as much as we are not used to it, neither are our pets ! ❄️☃️
Short coated , elderly or young pets will really struggle to keep warm. Short legged breeds of any age get wet and cold very quickly . Please be careful in this freezing weather ! It may be worth swapping walks for cozying up inside ☕️with some enrichment toys and quick toilet breaks till it warms up a little 🌨️

The very handsome Doug 🦮came to see us before Christmas for his 6-month health check🩺. While here, he enjoyed a lot of attention and even started singing for treats🦴. He also picked up three month’s worth of flea and worm treatment. All of this was covered by our pet health plan🐾. Woody thought it was a great idea to eat an ostrich egg which the owner had kept for years as a souvenir 🥚

Luckily his owners noticed what he had eaten and brought him into the vets for an injection to make him sick 🤢

Woody made a full recovery but felt very sorry for himself afterwards ❤️‍🩹
