We've had a wonderful year at MerlinVet in 2024, with just a few of our highlights shown here, including London Vet Show and being a finalist in The Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards!

It's which means there will be fireworks! 🎇

As you'll know, it's important to keep your pets safe 🐶 🐱

A few words of advice from us to ensure they remain calm:
🎆 Ensure your dog/cat has somewhere to hide (build a den under furniture or in a cupboard with their favourite things)
🎆 Walk dogs during the day, not when it's dark
🎆 Keep dogs/cats inside and draw the curtains
🎆 Keep them distracted with toys/rewarding games
🎆 Play music to drown out the sound of the fireworks
🎆 Do not punish your dog for their reactions to the fireworks
🎆 Give comfort if they seek reassurance
🎆 If your pets live outside, partly cover their cages with blankets (leaving a gap for them to see out) & provide extra bedding to burrow in
🎆 Make sure your house & garden are secure
