With the weather being so changeable I loved a quote from one of my clients.
"Reiki makes the sunshine come from the inside and it lasts for days"
It made me think how many other people feel Reiki does this?
So, any new appointments booked after the 31st July on any Reiki treatment, either for Animals or Humans is £40

At present I am studying Herbalism for animals and thought I would share this as I am seeing Sweet Itch and Poisoned Feet a lot with clients. This is written to the best of my knowledge.

Sweet Itch and Stinging Nettles:
***STINGING NETTLES CAN NOT BE USED FOR MARES IN FOAL OR YOUNG FOALS*****

If your horse or pony is struggling with Sweet Itch then try Nettle Tea. Stinging Nettles have Anti- histamine and Anti-allergic properties. Nettles are also considered a versatile medicinal plant for horses and can help with other skin conditions, such as mud fever and poisoned foot.
Other benefits are:
Kidney, bladder and urinary tract. Metabolism, skin, joints & circulation
Blood cleansing: can be used for conditions like Laminitis & Arthritis to help clear congestion.
Circulatory stimulant: Nettles are rich in Iron, Vitamin C, Sodium, Chlorophyll, Protein & Fibre and can act as a tonic for horses.

To make Tea: Soak fresh/healthy (not starting to die or sprayed) Nettle leaves (not the stem or tops, just the side leaves) or use dried nettles (can be bought online/ horse shops) in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes then strain.
Horses weighing 600KG 30-50g chopped nettle
Cob size 25g
Ponies 10-15g.
