In addition to homing Greyhounds we sell Greyhound & Whippet indoor & outdoor coats, snoods, collars, leads, Greyhound Calendars, printed & hand made Christmas cards, Birthday cards, Blank & other greeting cards etc.

Our RGSL monthly walk held on Sunday 27th October 2024 was held at Arnside. Heavy rain the night before meant we couldn’t use the carpark we normally start and finish from due to it being waterlogged. The day was dry and people parked cars along the promenade and the RGSL van parked at the entrance to the car park opposite the chip shop who kindly let us use one of their tables to serve refreshments and display the few goods we were able to display. Despite the carpark being flooded the walk was enjoyed by 43 hounds and their owners, and £188.91 was raised. Thank you to everyone who organised it, helped out and participated in the walk. Many thanks. Our next walk is in Heysham on the 10th November.

QUINN (Quintana) who went to his forever home yesterday (Sunday 20th October 2024) was our 900th greyhound to be homed since we started in July 2004.

Our RGSL monthly walk at Sizergh on Sunday 29th September 2024 was part of the Great Global Greyhound Walk. The day when greyhounds all around the world walk on the same day, and we are pleased to announce 104 hounds attended our walk.
May we thank everyone who organised and prepared for it, who helped on the day, all those who did the walk and supported us. It stayed dry for us, and we raised £1,029.00, a super amount made up as follows: £216.00 ‘pound a hound’ collection and £813.00 from the sales from the stall by the RGSL van.

FREDDIE (Chasmill Runaway) is a handsome lad who was born in November 2020, weighs 30 kg., is house trained, neutered, inoculated and microchipped.
Freddie is a very nervous lad who needs time to get used to people and this big new outside world he's found himself in. He's not interested in other breeds of dogs, and is okay on a lead, but can get a little spooked at new or loud noises. He also travels well in a car.

RUTH (Ruthbegood) is looking for a new home. She's a sweet girl who was born January 2021. Having broke her hock, and the repair being unusually complex she arrived here thought to be okay. Sadly the area broke down, infection took hold, and an x-ray showed extensive damage so she had her leg removed on Monday 2nd September. This photo of Ruth was taken in the RGSL paddock just 6 days after her amputation. Weighing 26 kg., she's house trained, spayed, inoculated and microchipped. Ruth is a very sweet girl who loves a cuddle, is fine with children and other breeds of dogs, walks nicely on a lead (but not too far at the moment), and travels well in a car.

JADE (Wingates Jade) is looking for her forever home. She was born 25th August 2022, weighing 26.5kg is house trained, spayed, inoculated and microchipped. Jade is a very happy friendly girl who is still very puppyish in that she will 'puppy nip' if she gets over excited, but that may be attention seeking with all the other dogs here wanting to greet you at the same time. She loves playing with her toys and the other dogs. From what we've seen so far she's okay with children (so long as she doesn't get too excited and turn into a puppy again), other breeds of dogs, and has been in the local pub. She walks okay on the lead and travels well in a car.
