I've been a bit AWOL lately as I spent pretty much the whole of December poorly! And the whole of Christmas working nights 👩🏼‍⚕️

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) I swear this oath every year to the RCVS, my governing body

This means I am fully regulated and can be reported, investigated and/or lose my title of RVN, so you can be rest assured, I will always act in the best interest of you and your pet (Not that I wouldn't anyway!) 🐾

One of today's visits was to this handsome pair! 😍 Ash and Raven are very impressive maine c***s!

As you can see they're super fluffy, mum does an excellent job of maintaining their fur so all that was needed was a little hygiene clip to keep them feeling fresh ✨️

This week I've been nursing one of our own 🥺

Being able to nurse family pets is one of the biggest advantages of the job, I can stay with them through the whole process ❤️

Poor Merlo had to have spinal surgery but thankfully I was able to be there for his CT, monitor his anaesthetic during surgery, cuddle him in recovery and look after him in the hospital 🏥
