We would like to share the sad news of the passing of George Proctor. George has been a huge part in the history of Highgate Vets, joining John Geary in partnership and continuing to lead the practice for many years after. We are sure that there are many pet owners and farmers that have lots of fond memories of him.

We are sad to announce the death of one of our Former Presidents of the Westmorland County Agricultural Society, George Procter B.V.Sc. MRCVS. George died peacefully at Kendal Care Home on Monday 3rd June aged 87 years. A service of Thanksgiving will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Thursday 20th June at 12.30pm. Our thoughts are with his family and friends

Beautiful Yrsa has gone missing from the Gillingate area of Kendal, last seen yesterday, Monday 17th June. She is quite nervous about strangers so might very well run away from you if approached, please, contact us with any sightings as we have the owner's details.

MISSING CAT. Sidney is half Maine Coon/tabby with big paws and a thick tail, and he is microchipped. He was last seen at 7.30/8am on Tuesday 11th June at home, Park Avenue, Kendal (LA9 5QW). If he is found, please call 07919202193.

LOST FERRET. This morning we have had a second ferret brought into us from Hallgarth, Kendal. They are both female, clearly used to being handled but neither have a microchip. We have organised temporary housing for them both but would like to get them back home ASAP.
