Just want to say a huge thank you to a few of my newer clients and their wonderful, kind words.

"Hi Leigh... just a quick note of thanks for popping round and giving our cat Oli a hair cut! Much less stressful for him having it done at home, and I guess his pedicure went down well too; as soon as you left he curled up and had a snooze! You clearly have a great and caring way with animals. Will definitely use again!"

I have met a few new furry friends over the last few days and they've all been super stars 🌟.

Here you can see Truffle, a stunning spaniel, he's my newest dog walking dogs and Rosie, a little dachshund who was such a good girl for her nail clip. I had the pleasure of also meeting handsome Oli, a gorgeous Persian cat for a nail clip and help getting some knots out of his fur. (I forgot to get a picture of him was enjoying strokes too much!)

⚠️TO EVERYONE WITH OUTSIDE PETS⚠️

We are due some pretty nasty weather. We would recommend securing all of your enclosures as we are forecast 80MPH winds and torrential rain. We inevitably end up with lots of stray aviary birds after weather like this but other outdoor animals should also be secured ❤️

Hi all,

I'm Nurse Leigh, a qualified veterinary nurse of 8 years. I'm fully insured and cover all of Ashford in regards to the pet services I offer.

Daytime dog walking - perfect if you work and you need someone to pop in on your pet and take them for a walk during the day, usually much cheaper than doggy day cares.

Nails clips - takes the stress out of going to the vets, nails clipped in the comfort of your pet's own home.

A**l glands - if you're pet needs regular visit to get these emptied, again they can be done in the comfort of your own home.

General nursing advice - weight management and also dematts for those longhaired fluffy cats.

Pop in pet feeding/sitting service - can tailor the amount of visits to your pet. They can stay in their home and it's a lot less stressful for them than boarding kennels and catteries and most times much cheaper too!!

Pet taxi service - If you don't drive or have a larger breed of dog and need help getting to a vet appointment or the groomers etc. I can help!

To all my new and latest followers. I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a bit about what I offer here at Nurse Leigh's Pet Services.

Firstly Hello! I am Leigh, I have been a qualified veterinary nurse for 8 years this year and worked in the veterinary industry for 11 years!

I offer a day time dog walking service, a pop in pet feeding/walking service - perfect for small furries and cats when you are on holiday, I also can take you pets to vet appointments or the groomers if you are unable to drive or need help with a larger dog.

The beauty of me coming to your house for pet sitting services is that your pets can stay in the environment they already know and love - which is half the stress! I drive an unmarked car so I don't advertise the reason I'm there, this is purely for the security of my clients - you guys. Plus normally pet sitting is cheaper than putting your pets into catteries, kennels or boarding hotels.

I am fully insured and am trained in pet CPR and first aid and I am a qualified nurse so your pets are in very safe hands.

If there are any other services you would like to see me add then please don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to accommodate you and your fur babies!
