Running Horse Repairs is based in Snodland, Kent and owned and run by Kate Lawson. Using traditional methods to create beautiful pieces of craftwork.

Please contact if you are unsure about a repair you may have or a piece you want created. I work with English leather to make made to measure horse and dog items such as bridles and dog collars. I am able to carry out repairs on most leather equipment but please feel free to message me if your not sure about something you have broken. I also make leather jewellery, belts, wooden signs and keyrings.

A few weeks ago I finally got round to making myself and my daughter a new 'matching' belt. Had been waiting to find a quick gap to use this new leather and lovely stirrup buckles.

I had so much fun having a go at horse Archery at riding the gorgeous Freddie. We then stayed over at Warwick Castle and watched their amazing Wars of the Roses show

It's been awhile since I've posted but still working away on repairs and some new ideas. Personalised keyrings are still one of my favourite things to do, they take a fair amount of time but definitely worth it.

After the foggy drive, then rain and sleet at the fair and snow on the way home I am glad to say that is our last Christmas fair. I have enjoyed them all and meeting lots of lovely people. Glad to be home in the warm though and watch the snow.

Hermes the 10mth old guide dog in training loved his new matching bow tie 🐕❤

New leather multilead I made for a friend with 3 King charles cavaliers but sometimes has an extra one to dog sit too. It's attached to a lunge swivel so hopefully no one gets tangled.
