🎆 NEW YEAR’S EVE — PLEASE PROTECT YOUR ANIMALS TONIGHT 🎆
Tonight the world will be full of noise, lights, laughter, and celebration.
But for our animals, it’s one of the most frightening nights of the year.
While we count down to midnight, many pets will be shaking, hiding, crying, or desperately trying to escape the fear they don’t understand.
A single firework can send a terrified animal bolting through an open door, a loose gate, or a gap in the fence — and in seconds, a beloved family member is gone.
Please, for their sake:
🐾 Keep them indoors wherever possible.
Even the bravest animals can panic when the sky explodes with noise.
🐾 Close all doors, windows, and gates. Double‑check them.
Fear makes animals unpredictable, they can slip out faster than you think.
🐾 If you’re going out, leave them safe in one room.
Lights on, curtains closed, TV or radio playing, anything that softens the fear.
🐾 Ask visitors to be mindful.
A single door left ajar can change everything.
🐾 Make sure microchip details are up to date.
If the worst happens, it gives us the best chance of bringing them home.
Tonight, while we celebrate new beginnings, our animals just need to feel safe.
They don’t understand fireworks, but they understand you.
Your voice, your home, your care, that’s their whole world.
Let’s make sure every pet wakes up tomorrow exactly where they belong:
safe, warm, and loved.
From all of us at Animals Lost and Found, we wish you a peaceful, safe New Year, for you and for every animal who depends on you. ❤️
