New cat microchipping law starts tomorrow 10/6/2024. We are so grateful to have been able to start this law with our local mp Rehman Chishti 🫶 we know it's hard to govern and there will still be those that don't do it. However, it will help as much as it's helped the dogs when the law was passed about microchipping them. We have seen a dramatic fall in dogs that aren't chipped, so more get home ❤️
Thank you all for supporting the work we do!
It's been a minute hasn't it this year?
Happy New year to all our friends, family and you our amazing supporters.
Here's to 2024!
Thank you to everyone that's made our animal welfare organisation possible <3 and to those that didn't believe in us, well.....thank you for the motivation we needed to prove you wrong 😁

Jasper the flu kitten
Everyone meet Jasper. Jasper was born 4 weeks ago, he was one of 5 babies. Mum had severe flu and all his siblings passed away. The lady that took the mum in had rescued mum originally herself and tried absolutely everything to help mum and babies. Unfortunately with flu it is extremely hard to help babies so young. Mum is on the mend but the lady was struggling to keep up with her normal everyday tasks of looking after her own family, her own animals, the mum and the baby so she has signed Jasper over to our care.
As you can see Jasper's eyes are in a bit of a mess, he has constant snot coming from his nose, he can't smell properly or see properly at the moment. We are barrier nursing him so our own animals and the fosters don't get flu.
Cat flu is a virus that, much like human flu, can leave them with a fever and runny nose and eyes. Cat flu is not usually serious in healthy cats. But it can be serious, and even fatal, in kittens and adult cats with underlying illnesses, much like us humans.
We will try our very best to save both his eyes and help him hopefully kick the flu in the butt!
Cat reunited after 7 years!
This is a bit of a long winded story, so bear with us if you can.
We received a report of a cat standing in a field near some young lads playing football, he refused to move from where the goal posts were and they began to get a little concerned for his welfare, so they put a post on a local Hoo group asking if anyone recognised the cat and if anyone could help. A lovely lady called Tara saw the post and ran to help the cat. She took him to a vets in High Halstow for a check over and a chip check. We said to Tara that we had a space here if he needed it.
Meanwhile we received a call from a very worried lady in Hoo explaining the cat kind of looks like the cat she had been feeding for the past 2 years. So she sent a member of her family to the vets to check. They went back home unsure if the cat was the same cat as someone said they thought the cat may be female and the cat they have been feeding was a neutered male cat.
Fast forward a week the vets called and said he is doing really well, he is definitely elderly and completely deaf. A member of their staff dropped him off to us and we made a video to put a bit of his story on our facebook group. Within hours we got another call from the feeder who said he is definitely the cat she's been feeding. She went on to explain the lengths she has gone to try and care for him, keep him comfortable and warm, but she couldn't bring him indoors as he didn't like her dogs. We stated he was safe with us and we will keep trying to locate his owner and if no owner could be located we will try our best to find him a forward placement that suits his needs.
This morning 3rd March we received a private message with photos of a cat that are identical to the baby we have here. We scrutinised all the markings on the cat and rang the lady for extra information. This boy Rocky has been missing for 7 years!!
The owner said over the phone that as soon as she opened Facebook this morning she saw the video and it hit her right in the sto
11 Day's of January
It's been a long January for us so far (yes I know we are only 11 days in to January, but it's felt like a whole month already and we aren't even half way through).
These are a few of the animals we've helped so far.
Thank you for your donations, love and support. We couldn't do all of this without you ❤️
7 full days with ALFIK
This is what we've managed to accomplish these past 7 days with your help.
It's been an emotional roller-coaster with sad and happy things that have happened, we are all exhausted and it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all, but we will keep trying to do what we can with all that we have.
Thank you to all that continue to support us and those that still donate where they can. It honestly means the world to us and more importantly these babies that need it. This video has taken a lot of effort for us to put together whilst running 🤣
