Mum made us have a bath and haircut to welcome the new year in, not sure if that was a welcome surprise but at least we are clean and tidy for 5 minutes, mind you with all this wet weather and mud, it won’t take long to be grubby again.

Yesterday I received some very sad news from this boys owners. Our lovely Louie recently crossed the rainbow bridge after a short but incurable illness. Lou was a rescue whose first owner died, he was taken on by my clients who gave him the most wonderful and loving home despite his ongoing medical problems which never deterred him from his cheerful nature and wagging tail. Lou I am really going to miss you, such a good boy to groom, when I see a bright star in the sky I will always remember you with much affection. Run free beautiful boy inside and out. Xx
