Cold Weather! ❄️ featuring Polo & Delilah πŸ“·

Whether there is thick snow or even a bit of sunshine, it is important to keep your pets warm (and bonus, they look adorable!)

Our beloved long dogs such as Greyhounds, Lurchers etc need nice warm coats/jumpers as they are thinner with shorter coats (and big babies!) 🐾.

As the roads are icy, there will be grit on them which can irritate their paw pads, so it is advised to wash them after their walks.

Don’t let them sit outside in the garden for too long, as their temperatures can drop quite quickly! πŸ₯Ά

It’s only natural that over the festive period we all indulge in a few more treats than usual, and when the guilt kicks in our beloved fury companions often get a treat too (because sharing is caring right?).

This week marks 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐚π₯ πŽπ›πžπ¬π’π­π² π€π°πšπ«πžπ§πžπ¬π¬ π–πžπžπ€, and is a good time to check that your pet is in tip-top condition moving forward in 2025.

Reg is a 9 year old collie, who has spent his life working sheep with his owner who is a shepherd. As Reg started getting older his owner noticed he was slowing down, was stiff in the mornings and was often reluctant to jump into the truck. Reg is now loving life again after having a monthly injection to support his arthritis. It is important we don’t dismiss these signs as simply old age. Age itself is not a disease and we should always check out any signs of change in your dog.
