Westie Primrose 🐾 had been handstripped for a few years but her coat no longer allowed for this, so the decision was made between Ella and her paw-rents to clip her coat instead 🛁✂️ she was much more relaxed throughout and enjoyed the groom. We think she looks very smart! 💛

🎆Firework season is upon us 🎆
Whilst they're lovely to look at, they can be a cause of great stress to our furry friends 🐶 🐾
🛏Giving your pet a safe place to hide and making it cosy with blankets and bedding will comfort them.
🎼 Playing music around the house will help to drown out some noise. Classic FM broadcast a show dedicated to music to help relax your pet. This runs from 5pm-9pm on Tuesday 5th November
🐕‍🦺Walking your dog before it gets dark will limit the chance of them being outside when the first fireworks start to go off, ensuring they are safe and cannot bolt in fear and have also had good exercise to tire them for the evening ahead.
🦴 Keep your dog busy with their favourite chews, you can fill these with dog friendly peanut butter, water soaked kibble and natural yogurt and freeze this in advance to provide them with a distraction. Chewing and licking is also a natural calming behaviour for dogs.
🤗 Keep your pet company in the evening. They may want to seek comfort with their best friend.

Ella had Border Terrier Hattie 🐶 visit her at our Sevenoaks salon for a handstrip🐾 This removes the wire top coat leaving the softer, smooth undercoat and you can really see the difference! 💕

🐾🐾Whilst we are fortunate to have our salons based inside veterinary surgeries 🏨 we want to ensure we are doing our utmost to keep your pet safe should an emergency arise whislt your pet is in our care 💛 Last week our groomers had a training session with Nurse Frankie to cover emergency first aid so we can provide care for your pet before a vet is able to attend. It was a great way to refresh our initial training and learn some new skills ⛑️ 🐶

Puppy Golden Retriever Daisy visited our Sevenoaks salon for a bath and brush 🛁🧼 she does look a bit worried but was such a good girl and had lots of fuss from Eleanor! 🥰

Gentle giant Milo came in for his bath, spa package and deshed 🧼🛁with Ella and Megan at our Meopham salon. His coat was very dense with undercoat so they used a conditioning treatment in the bath and then used the blasters the base of his coat to dislodge a large amount of his coat 💨💨 As you can imagine there was a huge amount of hair to clean up when he left! #stbernard #bathandbrush #deshed #blowncoat #gentlegiant
