Overgrown nails can cause a dog's paws to be in an unnatural position, (I've attached a photo of a dog that came in recently walking on their 'heels' you can see the difference now their claws are not resting on the floor or pushing their feet into an uncomfortable angle)

If you are walking your dog on soft ground with little pavement walking or walking on hard surfaces they won't grind the nail down naturally this can lead to joint pain, back problems, and a risk of slipping, risk of the nail snagging, breaking, or growing into the paw pad. Good morning! Polite notice! Firstly I want to say I know this is only a handful of people and most of my pup parents are the absolute best at keeping me upto date with their dogs,

Unfortunately over the last 2 weeks I have lost almost £300 from missed appointments and last minute cancellations. I have had late arrivals I have had to squeeze in and rush. As well as dogs waiting to be collected almost 3 hour's after they have been due to be collected.

Now I am understanding, and I do my best to be flexible and as a parent I know missing appointments are not always in your control, and I have had to change appointments due to illness. However as a parent and a business owner I do have to provide and I have bills to pay, so I am going to need to be firmer with the no shows and late cancellations in order to protect my income., or I will need to start taking deposits, this is not something I want to do as it will put more pressure on my clients and add more work for myself. Especially with christmas coming up.
