I've removed, lots of ticks and grass seeds this week, one was a seed very close to causing some serious issues to a dog's paw.

Please check your dogs after every walk, comb your dogs coat especially their legs to check for any hidden passengers 🪲

PLEASE READ ⚠️☀️
Good morning, due to the forecast heat today. And over the next couple of days, I am having to reschedule some appointments because I will not be able to keep the salon at a safe temperature for your dogs. Small dogs, old dogs, dogs that need a lot of time under a dryer as part of their full groom, and dogs that have additional needs are particularly vulnerable, I will be in touch with some more information and you will be called directly if this affects you. Please can I ask that if you have an appointment when it is hot you do not walk your dog to and from the appointment if it can be avoided. Nothing is worth a dog dying from the heat. If you would like to reschedule your dogs appointment please drop me a message. I will be making spaces for evenings and later in the week when it will be cooler.

Please can we also send well wishes to Caroline who is currently unwell and will be off for the week.❤️

Well that's us home from holiday,✈️🌊🏝️ We have had a lovely time away. Thank you to everyone that has been patient whilst I've been away, and thank you to Caroline for holding the thought and helping to organize appointments in the salon. I will be back to work on Monday, please bare in mind I have a lot of people to get back to so I will get to everyone when I can. Many thanks 🌞

TICK SEASON ‼️

🟢Reminder to everyone to check your dogs for Ticks and fleas regularly especially after walks. (Brush and comb your dogs will make it easier to be sure you have checked every area of your dog.)

🟢Make sure they are up to date with any treatment or remedy you may use

🟢Make sure you know how to remove a tick safely (do not just pull them off!)

🟢 Remember we sell a great tick shampoo from Julie Harris Dog Grooming as an extra preventative.

Reminder that if you are late for your appointment. We have the right to refuse the groom. We understand things happen and you are welcome to rebook. Note we have to work our times out carefully. Especially when working with dogs, crossing over appointments can cause a lot of unnecessary chaos not only for the dogs but for us too. Please be polite about this. We have this policy in place to make sure everything runs smoothly through the day and every dog gets the time it needs.
