Lolly

12.2hh 7 yr old cob mare. The ultimate child’s pony or pony club pony. Broken in when she was younger, had a lovely big foal, now back into work and ready to find her new family. Happily schools, trots over coloured poles. Used to farm machinery and traffic. Super friendly and safe around children. She loves being pampered and fussed, will stand tied up all day. Good to bath, to to pick all her feet out, good with mares and geldings, loads and travels. She’s a very versatile girl, super on lead rein, first pony or second pony. Well mannered and polite, no lumps or bumps, never been sick or sorry. Passported.

They really are flying out of the door.
Dora has been with us 2.5 weeks and has passed a vetting and has now sold. She’s staying till the end of the week till her new owners are back from holiday then she will start her new adventure.

This week we said good bye to another two lovely horses.
Spots were here for 2 weeks on sales livery and we said good bye to him this evening as he headed off to his new home.
Nancy owned by myself who I’ve had for 1.5yrs now went off to her new family on Monday to have a lovely easy life.

Spots
16.1hh 12 yr old Appaloosa gelding. He’s a horse that’s been there done that. Cross country he is very brave and bold, jumps anything. He’s hunted, done hunter trials, clinics, fun rides, would really excel at team chasing. Got plenty of scope when it comes to show jumping but it hasn’t been his owners favourite discipline so he’s need to get back out there with that but has real potential to BS. He hacks alone and in company, good in traffic including farm machinery. Very polite and loving on the ground, he is used to children, dogs, donkeys etc. He schools nicely in all 3 paces. He’s also done beach rides. He comes to call in the field, lives in a heard with mares and geldings, good to clip, catch, shoe (prefers being cold shod), loads and travels in a trailer. He’s up to date with the physio, farrier (fully shod), vaccinated, wormed and teeth. When he’s out at busy events he is a horse that prefers to keep moving around rather than standing as he has an active brain and enjoys his job. Very sad decision but owner has two bad legs and wants to focus on her children. Based in Northamptonshire, comes with his tack and rugs.

Dora
A full up chunky 14hh 14yr old cob mare. She really takes up the leg. She’s the ultimate happy hacker for someone. She hacks alone and in company, good in traffic including farm machinery. She schools if she has to but she would prefer to go hacking or on a fun ride. She’s done a dressage test happily. She’s very good with pole work and know where her legs are. She’s happy to pop some very small little jumps but this isn’t her forte. Happy to live with mares and geldings. Good to catch clip, load, travel, good for the farrier. Up to date with everything, teeth, back, worming, vaccinations etc. She comes with all tack and rugs. No lumps or bumps, fit and healthy. Same home for the past 2.5years, owner has now outgrown.

In the first photo we have the lovely biscuit who we delivered to his new home yesterday. Came to us on sales livery and sold within 3 weeks. We wish him well on his new adventure. X

In the second photo we have the super mare Gracie who has been an absolute pleasure to have on our yard. She sold yesterday to the best home we could have wished for. She will definitely be missed for sure. X

A few weeks back, we sold our lovely little cob mare Minnie. She’s getting on really well, she’s already yard favourite and today she went to her first ever show and took it all in her stride. We look forward to seeing more updates from this duo.

Happy hacker/companion

We call her Granny of the yard.
16.2hh 14yrs old Irish mare. She’s been in the same home a long time now. I really have been putting this off but now with my injury it leaves me no choice but to reduce my numbers and find her a super home where she will be looked after. She’s just a happy hacker or companion now. She won’t pass a vetting because she a bit stiff but otherwise healthy. Would just benefit from a joint supplement. She hacks out alone and in company, good with mares and geldings. Good in traffic and with farm machinery. She’s been ridden but novices and looks after them. She went on a beach holiday last year which she was very well behaved and loved cantering along the beach. There’s nothing fast about this mare at all, she’s very steady and sensible. She will pop over some very small logs and trot poles. She’s very easy to do, good for the farrier (shod in front), loads and travels well. Passported, up to date with worming and teeth. Has had a little time off due to a sore on her withers which has now cleared up but she’s very good and can pick up and put down whenever. She is not to be sold on and a 5* home a must.

Some of you may remember a horse we sold just over a year ago called Tod. I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better home for him. I love watching this pair go from strength to strength.
We try our best to match all horses to the best possible homes and we definitely hit the nail on the head with this one.
