Feeling proud as a small business so I'm just blowing my own trumpet!!.
Just worked out some figures and in the 5 years since I opened Precious Paws Cattery I have completed 800 bookings and I've cared for 1007 cats.
I hope they all went home calm and happy at the end of their stay. (No negative feedback to date).
Its not all easy peasy, there have been some hissy, spitty, hard to make friends with cats that make feeding and cleaning litter trays extremely hazardous (I wore garden gloves, coat and wellies for one!) but most are friendly or roly-poly love bugs.
Its long hours for nowhere near minimum pay, but very satisfying to work from home. Thankyou to everyone who has trusted me to look after their cat/s and I've plenty more to do with future bookings received.

Would anyone be interested in buying a cat wheel? £100. Our youngest cat played on it for a while but has since lost interest in it. Inside has dark grey matting to run on. Collection from the cattery address.

We had such a huge success with our Microchipping event alongside the wonderful staff at Vets4Pets Corby who gave up their Sunday that we're doing it again! 😸

For just £5, you can turn up and have your cat microchipped, which is now a requirement by law, as well as the responsible thing to do when taking care of a cat to give them the best possible chance of returning home should they stray.

The event will run Sunday 28/07/2024, 10AM - 2PM. No booking required! Limited quantity of microchips available. CASH PAYMENT ONLY. Help us spread the word to get a few more cats compliant 😁😁😁

Pleasingly, unless I get a cancellation, at present there are no longer spaces available, just a few odd overnight / 3day spaces right up to Oct.
First spaces, 6 day 13th-18th Oct or 7 days 29th Oct-4th Nov.
Booking 2025 now with some dates already full. Thankyou to my regular clients for all their amazing support.

Apart from these, I only have various short spaces available of 2, 3 or 4 days up to 24th November.
£14 per day for a single cat in a pen or £20 for 2 cats from the same household sharing a pen, everything provided.

The cattery will be closed from 22nd Feb to Thurs 29 Feb for electrical work and roof resealing. New sockets for water fountains and an upgrade to the dimmable lights.
Thank you to all my clients who pleasingly keep me busy, I look forward to seeing you again after this short break, my first in 4 months.
